Friendly staff

We were told that the location is 10 min walk from the main train station; maybe for backpackers, or lite travellers who walk fast & know the location very well. We had big lugages after 10 days of travelling in Europe, had to ask for direction from time to time; ended up walking for +/- 30 min pulling those lugages. As some of you had probably known, the roads there are paving blocks, not smooth asphalt, 1 lugage got damaged on the way.

The location is very close to the main railwaystaion and easy to find. The breakfast is good. The room is clean, dry and warm.

The room is too simple without caffee maschine or water cooker, which is selten in three stern hotel.

The service at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful. The restaurant recommendations were perfect. The beds were comfortable, the flat-screen tv with Satellite was just the thing for a stressed out couple just beginning the winter holiday vacation. A nice deep bathtub! It was a short walk to all the spectacular sights of Luzerne. The breakfast was huge and had everything from steamed rice and soup to gipfli and muesli, scrambled eggs, bacon and a great variety of teas. There is a really nice cafe right across the street where locals hang out--very hip and with a relaxing atmosphere. We were delighted with this hotel and the price was quite reasonable for Switzerland.

The floor in our room was a bit sticky when walked on with bare feet. Not due to it being unclean but probably due to cleaning products. No big deal.

We love this appartment and the breakfast supplied as it was so well position that we could walk every where the food was good and staff where very helpfull, the area had cafes and resurants in both directions and very near the old town. Great spot thanks heaps

It was convenient to everything we wanted to see in Lucerne - we cpould walk everywhere. It was also convenient to the Railway Station. In general, with one exception, the staff was marvellous. Our room was quite spacious and quiet.

The breakfast was very mundane - the same as all the other hotels we had stayed at in Europe. We were hoping for something a little more distinctive in Switzerland.

A very pleasant hotel just five minutes walk from the chapel bridge. Excellent value, very clean. Good breakfast and the restaurant right next door served really good food. Most enjoyable stay, would use this hotel again.

The hotel is centrally located, near the historic quarters of Lucern. The room was big, located in the front part of the building, and had 5 windows! It looked almost like a suite! Nevertheless, it was very quiet.

The hotel is a bit old. Some refurbishment needed. The restaurant and the bar were both close for holidays. Why not to close each one at a time?

The restaurant was closed on Sunday when we arrived.

The staff at the hotel were very cooperative. They helped us in our onward journey to France by arranging transport for Mulhouse on a reasonable charges and also arranged railway reservations from Strasbourg to Paris. They really took pains in doing so. We are really grateful.

We were staying in the building next to the main facade. I wish the bathrooms in our part of the hotel had been renovated!!!!

The staff!!!! Everyone at the front desk was helpful, friendly, and professional! They did whatever they could to make our stay there pleasant.

I like the staff because she is helpfull.

I don't like it because there's no refrigerator in the room, I can not keep my Switzerland cheese that I bought for present for my family. The bath room is also not OK. There's no Air Con, only Fan.

Location - close to city

Very small room...not worth for money...2 Star hotel in same city was better.
