Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, breakfast was quite good. The room was small but I think just enough for one person. Location is perfect: near the Geneva lake but still close to the center. Free card for public transportation was provided and the bus connection was also good. The road near the hotel was noisy, but was not so disturbing during the night.

The staff was very very friendly and the room was very plesasant and clean. I didn't like that my room did not have the view over the Lake, even though I specifically asked for it with the reservation.

The extremely helpful and friendly staff; the free pass to public transport in Geneva; having a decent bath in the ensuite facilities; comfortable room with everythin required (E.G. trouser press, minibar) provided; good internet services (when they work!). I was in the middle of my e-mails when the hotel`s internet connection collapsed, so I had to resume them in the middle of the night!

Bedroom was poor - it had been used as a smoking room and so smelt strongly of stale tobacco smoke. It was also dark and gloomy with a window opening on to a light well.

Great little hotel opposite lovely park and lake yet only minutes from the city centre. Good breakfast, Free transport pass provided by the hotel is excellent for getting around Geneva. Geneva has no xmass market and fountain is not working at this time of year. Expensive city to eat and drink out

Super helpful staff went out of their way to make visit enjoyable. Hotel is located at a busy intersection so no way to sleep with windows open. Also, the walls are thin so bring earplugs.

We selected Hotel Eden for its location - close to Lake Geneva and the downtown area, and not to far from our arrival at the Geneva airport -- but we were very happy to find that the hotel also had exemplary accommodations. Our room was on the top floor (6th), opening onto a small terrace that looked out over the park and lake. The bathroom was almost as large as the bedroom. The towel warmer and pants presser were very nice amenities. Breakfast in the lovely restaurant was the best we had on our entire 2+ week trip. We only wish that we had eaten dinner in the hotel restaurant -- the menu looked very nice - as we were very disappointed with the quality of many of the restaurants in the old section of Geneva. The staff at Hotel Eden were also exemplary, graciously helping us with parking, computer issues and general directions. We highly recommend this hotel!.

Convenience - although not central, it is easy to get to the main station and restaurants etc (20 minutes walk or quicker using free bus/tram pass provided on arrival) and fairly close to un agencies. Very close to park and Botanical Gardens. Very pleasant staff. Nice clean modern comfortable room. Buffet breakfast included in price paid and perfectly adequate. Own restaurant (weekdays only). No tea/coffee-making facilities in room. I expect the single slow lift could be a problem at busy times - but not during my stay.

An excellent hotel, fit for purpose, and I so enjoyed the walk along the Lake towards the Old City and back - you have the perfect position, something that can't be changed or improved!

Ideally located for participants to World Trade Organisation (wto), World Meteorological Organisation (wmo), unicef, but also to unece, unctad meetings. It is located very close to the Lake Geneva and the Botanical Garden. Geneve-Sécheron railway station is just one block away. Being a small hotel, it has a charm.

“It was clean, friendly and comfortable, and located in the right place. A short walk from the station, literally 5 mins if that, straight out of the station doors and 200 mts along a right hand turn and you were there, that's why I chose to stay here. Leave the hotel by the side door and through a small shopping arcade and you were on the river. Excellent.” John, Stoke On Trent |
