The breakfast was great. The room was quiet (even had a balcony!) Special requests such as a baby crib were ready and waiting. Gave advice and pamphlets at front desk on things to do in the area. Very helpful staff.

Room size was a bit small, but was still manageable.

Centrally located

Watch out: rooms may not correspond to the pictures in the Booking webpage. I spent 30 min in an unpleasant discussion with three (03) recepcionists to get the right room. All of them insisting that the room they were giving me was an "upgrade". Just unbelievable... Not honest people at all.... At least, one day later the "general manager" sent me a letter saying that they (perhaps she) were "deeply regret that the first room which we gave you yesterday did not match at all with the pictures shown on all websites". So if you're looking for this kind of problem Ameron Flora will probably be the best option in Lucerna.

Location very close to Luzern station. Facilities high standard. Breakfast choice excellent. Coffee machine in room. Very comfortable bed - smart decor.

3pm checkin is too late in the day.

Really small rooms. Noisy. No hot water/coffee/water available. Really did not feel like a 4 star hotel.

Water was cold a few times so we couldn't shower. Bathroom glass shower protector too long so we had to climb into the bath to access the taps. Room was on the small side. Not much storage in the bedroom.

We had a wonderful time at Ameron Hotel Flora. Staff were amazing! so helpful and friendly, thank you. Your breakfasts and dinners are something we still think and talk about. Stunning! Very Clean and comfortable.

It is in the central of the city close to lake and main train station

Room was nice, hotel had lots of character, dinner in the restaurant at 10pm was absolutely superb. Breakfast was the best we had had in a hotel for a long time. Parking below hotel in public car park was paid for by the hotel on checkout. Location excellent for exploring Lucerne, very central, 30 second walk to waters edge.

View from our room was just of the car park. Driving to the hotel was difficult due to busy city and one way roads, we drove around 3 times before we managed to get to the hotel.

The hotel room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The wifi was strong and I like the hotel provided a computer in the lobby.

The room is really small. I didn't like the front desk staff because when I have a problem with the air conditioner, they acted like they do not understand english. Plus somehow the hotel can centralize control your room's a/c system. The hotel hand book stated that from Oct to April, they do not turn on the a/c. I don't think that's right. It was quite hot when I was there in April 2013. The breakfast was just fair and did not meet my expectations. The breakfast area was also very crowded from various tour group.

Excellent location and breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Room was small with only one chair. Bed was very hard. Only place we stayed that charged for everything in the minibar including water.

Very handy location to both the railway station and the main shopping area.

No view from our window, and a lot of noise during the night from departing night-club people nearby.

Good location with easy walk to lake and shops, and train station

No kettle in room. No basic tea or coffee making in room. Staff varied from pleasant and helpful to distant and unwelcoming, particularly the front of house, reception staff.

Location is wonderful! you can see the Chaple Bridge through the window of the room and is only 2 mins walk.Receptionist is very nice.

It need a swiss telephone number to apply an account for free wifi and not so available.

The sleep-well support with complimentary hot milk, various types of pillows and eye-masks. Hotel staff is helpful and friendly.

There is no complimentary tea/coffee making facilities in the room for a 4-star hotel. This is not acceptable by international hotel standards.

The staff in front desk was really helpless. No information provided for the city tour or weather checking. I had to walk back to the train station to ask at the traveling service. The day before, I stayed in interlaken west with 3 times less cost (54 CHF per night), I've got a warm welcome and received all information required (i.e. the route, weather checking, restaurant recommendation) Lastly, the WIFI signal in the room was horrible. I need to sit on floor just right in front of the door to get online because no signal is available in other area. So, I will not come back to the Ameron hotel and I will recommend other NOT to stay there. Extremely horrible and not even worth a penny!!
