The hotel is very nice. You will have evrything you need. Especially, there is a coffee machine in the room, i like it very much because I could drink a hot tea when I arrived in the cold night. This service is not available in most of other hotels. |

It is a beutiful place and very plesant to visit When I arrived I was asked if I would like an upgrade. I was told that the room though nicer was up three flights of stairs with no elevator. On the plus side I was told the room had a kitchen and washer dryer. I was not told until after I had purchased food to cook that the stove had no pots/pans/plates/silverware and cost 50 Franc a day to use. However the rest of the event was very nice |

The room was very noisy at night and especially noisy early in the morning when the city cleaner cleans the street and clearing up the rubbish bin. I would not choose to stay in this hotel again. |

instead of standard room, we got spacious apartment opposite of the hotel at weinmarkt. no a/c but otherwise great stay. location at weinmarkt is just fabulous. we arrived by car, you just have to have confidence you're allowed to drive through the pedestrian zone. vallet parking worked like charmed. breakfast wasn't that great. it could've been acceptable, but unbearable service on sunday. seem's that regular staff is off on sunday and service was horrible. |

Location, Room Confort, Value for money, Breakfast, Cleanliness, Wireless conection. Hotel staff at Reception: some employee (two) not very friendly with guests unfamiliar with spoken german/swuiss. Fortunatly the others were extremely polite. |

The size of the bedroom was really good, the structure and accessories of the bathroom, the localization near to the train station and to the interesting things to visit in town. There is no air conditioned and the window cannot be sufficiently open to allow the air renovation. Communication with staff was difficult since they do not speak english or french. The breakfast was poor and serve in a very small room. |

I stayed during weekend n was "upgraded" to Magic Hotel of the same group around the corner. The room was cheap taste design and I really don't think it's an upgrade. The worst thing is down the street it was super noisy with people yelling n singing all night long. So impossible to get any sleep. Noisy n no housekeeping after 4 pm |

A very good location right in the centre of the old town; easy and free wireless internet access; decent breakfast. In response to a request for directions to a place outside the city centre, the receptionist referred us... to the railway station information desk. |

Triple room was spacious, nice to have mini-fridge and coffee maker in room, location was perfect in Weinmarkt area of old town and within walking distance of the main attractions (close to the Chapel bridge), nice assortment for breakfast (continental) Parking was 27Euro/day, but then again it was expensive everywhere in Luzern |

The hotel itself was nice we were upgraded to an apartment which was nice and the receptionist who we met initially was very friendly We were extremely upset and appalled by the attitude of two staff members the first being i would thing the head waitress in the breakfast room, my husband simply asked if there was hot food available, as at some hotels after you sit down they ask if you would like this and he did not want to eat other food if this was available. |

Biggest hotelroom I've ever been in. Very spacious. Fantastic breakfast. Loved the Coffeemaking facilities in the room. Right in the town centre. Unfortunately alot of noise in the morning due to deliveries being made to all the shops around. |

The staff were wonderful! They helped us out whenever we needed it and suggested great places to eat! The hotel is located centrally and is perfect for shopping, eating and/or sightseeing! |

Room size was very good, breakfast was excellent and the location right in the middle of the old town was gorgeous but still within easy 5 minute walking distance to city center and train station. |

Large room & bathroom in a great central location. Good variety at breakfast. Baby cot was set up when we arrived. Parking was a little expensive, but worth it to save the hassle of parking ourselves. A small mix up with the cost when checking out, but it was resolved when I showed the reservation confirmation. Separate single beds pushed together to make a 'double'. |

I stayed at the Hotel in Jan 2009 with my wife. We found the staff most pleasant especially the Canadian waitress who served us breakfast every morning. Hotel is well sited in the old part of town and our room number 46 very elegant, large and airy and clean. |

Great location, friendly staff. There was a smell of smoke in the room, while I specifically asked for a non-smoking room when I made the reservation. When I reported about this to the hotel's staff, they said that my room is not a non-smoking room, and that my request for non-smoking room could not be fulfilled because there weren't any available non-smoking rooms. |

The Monopol Swiss Quality Hotel is the architecturally most fascinating hotel in Lucerne, resembling Parisian or Viennese palaces of the 19th century, and can be found right at the train station. |
The budget place to stay at the riverside with the mountain view. Our hotel is situated in the old town of Lucerne only a few minutes from the station, the lake and the shopping area. |
The hotel is located near the river Reuss, in the middle of the historical old town and the traffic free shopping area close to the famous Lucerne Wooden Bridge. |
The Hotel Waldstätterhof is located by the railway station, and is also close to the lake, the old town and the culture and congress centre. |
