The hotel has a long tradition and has completely been refurbished so that today it is the right place for a business or holiday stay.

The hotel has numerous meeting rooms.

Food & beverage

In the new restaurant IL DERBY you can taste Mediterranean and International flavours carefully selected by our Chef. The gastronomic offer is enhanced by tasty seasonal specialities, daily menus, culinary weeks, as well as variety of home-made desserts.

The refined dining room LA PERLA, in a typical English style, can be reserved for romantic dinners or to celebrate a special event, with a capacity of 60 people.

Opening hours:
Monday to Saturday open from 12 pm to 2 pm and from 7 pm to 10pm, closed on Sunday (alternative restaurants are available at the reception)

The DERBY PUB & MUSIC is the best place for a drink or a fast lunch. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday there is piano bar music.

The Hotel proposes different places to spend time, as IL DERBY PUB & MUSIC, with its reading and music zone, the veranda, the terrace as well as the garden.

Il Derby Pub & Music is open Monday to Saturday open from 10.30 am to 12 am and from 7 pm to 10pm, closed on Sunday

The 96 rooms are luminous, comfortable and spacious. There are rooms with a balcony and garden view and also triples, family and non-smoking rooms available.

Area information

5 km from city centre of Lugano, close to the lake, to the Chocolate and the Hermann Hesse Museum. 1 hour from Milan and only 30 minutes from a number of shopping centres and from Castles of Bellinzona (UNESCO World heritage).

There are 4 panoramic mountains within 10 km, and natural paths and sport activities in the surrounding area.
