The view was breathtaking. The hotel and staff are active sports people and cater to mountain bikers. I don't bike but appreciated all the extras they provided to their guests. Lots of healthy choices for breakfast, too. The room was spartan and the carpet faded but it was not worn. With everything else, these were minor issues. |

Clean and very nice room, Friendly staff, VERY good value for money. To be recommended to anyone! When travelling with an infant, take care to bring your own baby-bed. |

Friendly staff and very helpful. Good breakfast. Shower right off the sleeping area (not in a separate room). A little far from the center of town but the local bus does stop right out front. |

The renovated chic room and breakfast Sometimes you need to be more flexible with hotel regulations and consider each case separately. |

Free parking. This is a very basic hotel. 4 walls, bed and bathroom. Bed has a very thin mattress...not very comfortable and bed has one sheet and one duvet which they claimed is cleaned daily. Pretty good free breakfast. Expensive for what you get...Seemed to be the sort of place a high school group would use. |

this is a very nice place: newly renovated, fantastic glacier views from the balcony, very relaxed friendly atmosphere. great breakfast offerings, environmentally friendly the parking lot is small, so it can be difficult to find a spot |

The view from our balcony was fantastic. Imagine a place with snow mountain view when you are having breakfast, you are able to find it in this hotel. We don't like the attitude of one of the hotel staff. This was the only bad experience we had in this hotel. |

The view 104 104 104 room 104 beware!!!Filthy room ...beligerent staff...rude and curt...claimed to friendly maybe to some-There is a descreet toilet but the dangerous shower, and a bowl, are in the room, The rooms are only for, as one member of staff put it,'for those who sleep with their boots on in bed!!!!' This is now bargain price. What a shame as the site has such potential.Less spent on outdoor equipment and more on carpets!!! Don't tell me its for skiers I'm not here in July for that!!!!! |

Mountain Biking facilities were good. Grindlewald is an expensive place. Staff were courteous but not genuine. I would not recommend going to Grindelwald to Mountain Bike, the trails are mostly road or walking trails that are unrideable. There are nicer, more affordable and less touristy places to ride in Switzerland. |

Helpful staff who gave suggestions for walks and lent me a stick. Fantastic view of the Eiger from the balcony. Within ten minutes of the shops and restaurants of Grindelwald but in a quiet and unspoilt location. Definitely would stay here again. |

The views from the balconies over looking the Eiger are fantastic. The breakfast is continentle self service but there is lots of choice and plenty to eat. This is our third time staying at the Lauberhorn! The shower and sink are in the actual bedroom but if it had a proper ensuit then it would be a lot more expensive. |
