Hotel Lauberhorn położony jest po słonecznej stronie doliny Grindelwald i oferuje piękne widoki na imponujące góry, w tym na północną ścianę szczytu Eiger. Gorgeous clean modern room,very comfortable,knew about the glass loo doors before booking and decided not too much of a problem for us,although was so clean accidently walked into the door!.Breakfast was very nice and staff and owners seem lovely.Worth the extra little hike out of town (only took extra 10 mins walking) would definitely stay again and happy to recommend to others.

Best part about lauberhorn was the free champagne on arrival and daily basket of flowers and chocolates at out door. The goats in the room became a problem by the end.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff !! The rooms are simple but really nice decorated and very clean. From the big windows with balcony the views are amazing!!. The bus stop it's just on the door and takes 5 minutes to the center or ski gondola. Breakfast fantastic!

The people running the hotel were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast was great and the with the bus stop right outside, the position out of town wasn't a problem. In fact we walked to and from the bars and restaurants around Firstbahn most nights. Nothing. An excellent all round hotel and will definitely go back.

Staffs were friendly and helpful most of the time. They fetched us up from the train station on arrival by car. My advice is, once you reach the train station, call them and they will fetch you. Subsequently you can just walk to and fro. The hotel is a bit far from town if you want to walk though. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of varieties. The balcony view from our room was breathtakingly awesome with the Mount Eiger direct view. From the scenery point of view, worth the money. The distance from the town is a bit far. Basically from the train station, just walk up for about 15-20 mins before you reach the hotel . Room was modern and large enough but shower a bit small especially if you have a small child.

A very relaxed atmosphere, very friendly people. The location is just outside the town center (about 10 min walking, or by bus) which makes it very quit at night. The view from the nicely decorated rooms is superb. Easy parking in front of the hotel, a good working internet, a nice breakfast... The douche is in a cell in the room, so if you like to sleep in cold air, you will shower in cold air too.

Staff was fríendly and helpful. View was fantastic. Breakfast had good options and was well presented. Internet was available and a little slow but maybe a good thing to leave behind and go to the mountains anyway.

The view, of the Eiger, from my balcony was absolutely stunning. It just took my breath away. This felt as though I was on the lower slopes! The Hotel is a must for this outlook. The continental breakfast was excellant with a wide range of foods. The only minor complaint was the lack of draws for clothes. I lived out of my suitcase for 6 days. The outside view made this trivial.

Firstly, I would like to thank Conny and Beni Kaufmann, the two honorable owners of the Hotel Lauberhorn, for their hospitality and for their contenuously efforts for remodeling of the hotel. Secondly, I would like to thank the girls in the reception desk who were very helpful and cooperative. I have spent 5 days at this lovely hotel. The hotel was quite, clean, comfortable with a fantastic view to the charming mountain eiger. Directly in front of the hotel is the bus-stop lauberhorn. The ride only takes 5 minutes to the cable car "first" and 8 minutes to the trainstation (ski area kl.scheidegg/männlichen). Wireless internet is available free of charge in the entire hotel. During my next journy to switzerland I am planning to bring my family with me and definitly Hotel Lauberhorn will be my choice.

The mountain view location, tastefull rooms No one answers the pohone. I tried many many times to get to them before I arrived but to no avail. The shower and toilets have only a shower curtain with no doors. This could get embarrasing if you have kids.Breakfast buffet could have been a lot better.

Wonderful location, friendly staff, great breakfast with croissants that were out of this world. The view from parents' superior double was postcard image of Switzerland. Had a wonderful stay and will return and recommend hotel to friends.

Our stay at the Lauberhorn was brilliant. The staff are very accommodating, they were very helpful and knowledgable when asked about local activites. They provide us with extensive advice on the safest hikes to match our abilities plus the best for the current weather conditions. They were spot on every time. The hotel was great, very clean with fresh rooms. The free breakfast was a major bonus with a great selection of fresh produce. Plus the view from our room was amazing, looking straight down the valley at the huge mountain ragnes. Its going to be hard to find a better balcony view to finish your day on. This hotel is highly recomended from us....

What a super little hotel. It combines the feel of a fit for purpose trekking and activity base with the laid back feel of a spa. The facilities are fairly basic, but very comfortable, and the view is stunning. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to spend some time in Grindelwald in Summer. I was very pleasantly surprised. Nothing

Location was good. The manager picked us up from station, because the bus service had shut down. That was nice of her. Check in not possible after 9 pm. The bathroom door made of glass, and a strip of frosted glass. Does not afford privacy.

Female staff was extremely friendly. Nice new rooms. Breakfast was more than complete. Only details, hardly worthwhile to mention : The new bathroom was not as practical as beautiful, a fly screen would be practical for the evening/night.

I confirm that: "......the lauberhorn is a casual hotel, simple but contemporary with a strong headed personality and refreshing hospitality in a particularly relaxed atmosphere.." No, but I would avoid the half board at the hotel eiger!!

Good overall witrh clean room, excellent mountain view, quality breakfast choice, and good location. Some would prefer more privacy when usiing the bathroom as glazed door part frosted. Parking is an asset as other parts of town were metered / pay to park. Bus stops outside the hotel.
