Hotel Lauberhorn  

We liked our stay in this family hotel, the rooms are nicely designed and very comfortable for ski vacation. Conny and the other family members are welcoming and willing to help.

Staffs were friendly and helpful most of the time. They fetched us up from the train station on arrival by car. My advice is, once you reach the train station, call them and they will fetch you. Subsequently you can just walk to and fro. The hotel is a bit far from town if you want to walk though. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of varieties. The balcony view from our room was breathtakingly awesome with the Mount Eiger direct view. From the scenery point of view, worth the money.

The distance from the town is a bit far. Basically from the train station, just walk up for about 15-20 mins before you reach the hotel . Room was modern and large enough but shower a bit small especially if you have a small child.

Staff was fríendly and helpful. View was fantastic. Breakfast had good options and was well presented. Internet was available and a little slow but maybe a good thing to leave behind and go to the mountains anyway.

Firstly, I would like to thank Conny and Beni Kaufmann, the two honorable owners of the Hotel Lauberhorn, for their hospitality and for their contenuously efforts for remodeling of the hotel. Secondly, I would like to thank the girls in the reception desk who were very helpful and cooperative. I have spent 5 days at this lovely hotel. The hotel was quite, clean, comfortable with a fantastic view to the charming mountain eiger. Directly in front of the hotel is the bus-stop lauberhorn. The ride only takes 5 minutes to the cable car "first" and 8 minutes to the trainstation (ski area kl.scheidegg/männlichen). Wireless internet is available free of charge in the entire hotel. During my next journy to switzerland I am planning to bring my family with me and definitly Hotel Lauberhorn will be my choice.

Our stay at the Lauberhorn was brilliant. The staff are very accommodating, they were very helpful and knowledgable when asked about local activites. They provide us with extensive advice on the safest hikes to match our abilities plus the best for the current weather conditions. They were spot on every time. The hotel was great, very clean with fresh rooms. The free breakfast was a major bonus with a great selection of fresh produce. Plus the view from our room was amazing, looking straight down the valley at the huge mountain ragnes. Its going to be hard to find a better balcony view to finish your day on. This hotel is highly recomended from us....

Female staff was extremely friendly. Nice new rooms. Breakfast was more than complete.

Only details, hardly worthwhile to mention : The new bathroom was not as practical as beautiful, a fly screen would be practical for the evening/night.

Nice, cosy atmosphere. Very helpful and welcoming staff, with a very useful and supporting dedication for mountain biking. Excellent breakfast and view of Eiger and the surroundings.

clean and comfortable

Lovely welcome from Conny with lots of added extras ie Afternoon tea available to help yourself to and power bars with an honesty box. A lovely comfortable lounge area with books in various languages. Great local action photos on the Walls by her husband Beni. All rooms beautifully and individually decorated. All have good mountain views. Outside decking with bean bags and BBQ looking out on the Eiger. Best breakfast out of 20 hotels we have visited over the last 6 weeks - check out the birchermuesli!

Not really a hotel for young children. Located out of the main village but served by free bus.

Die Zimmer sind sehr schön. Gute Idee mit verschiedenen Farben. Unser Zimmer hatte einen wunderschönen Rotton.

Sehr gutes Personal schon beim einchecken sehr charmant, Frühstück, Service,sehr gut.

Schönes Zimmer mit einer prächtigen Aussicht und einem grossen Balkon. Reiches, frisches Frühstück, sehr ansprechend präsentiert. Sehr nette, hilfsbereite, kompetente Führung und Mitarbeiter. Gemeinschaftsräume, lichtdurchflutet mit Aussicht. Busstation direkt vor dem Haus mit guten Verbindungen.
