Sijainti on erinomainen: lähellä rautatieasemaa, rantaa ja keskustaa. Hotellin tarjoama julkisen liikenteen lippu on erittäin hyvä lisäpalvelu, koska liikenneverkosto on niin toimiva ja kattava. Sisustuksen yleisilme on varsin kulunut. |

Ystävällinen, palvelualtis henkilökunta, hyviä vinkkejä matkailijalle! Kodikas,pieni hotelli keskeisellä paikalla lähellä kaikkea.Hyvä aamiainen ja nettiyhteys tarvittaessa. Siisti huone.Hotellista sai ilmaisen matkakortin oleskelun ajaksi, hienoa! Rautatieasema ja bussipysäkki lentokentälle ihan lähellä. Ei, kaikki oli hyvin järjestetty, siistiä ja kodikasta. |

location - less than 3 min walk from central railway station, close to Geneva lake poor staff service, poorly maintained, bathroom tile pieces fragmented posing danger of of cutting foot. |

For Geneva, the room was relatively inexpensive. The breakfast was also better than expected. The free transit card is great! It also has a perfectly central location. It was very hot, since the only ventilation provided was a small fan. This also meant it was noisy, as we had to leave the windows open. If the weather had been cooler, it would've been a fine budget option. In the summer, I would not recommend it! |

Most of all I liked the level of attentiveness of the reception staff. They were very helpful and courteous at all times. The bathrooms were very old and in need of updating. |

The location which it is situated two minutes walk from the central train station (gare cornavin) and 5 minutes to the lake. It was very bad that the hotel from outside and from inside looks very old and especially dirty. The room was totally different to what is seen on pictures on their websites. Very expensive compared to very dirty !!! Thin windows so very loud from the streets. In hot summers even much hotter inside, no fresh air possible through windows, no air conditioner. |

Considering Switzerland is such an expensive place,the room was cheap compared to others.And in all fairness,it was an alright room,with an ensuite & good breakfast.Clean, but in need of redecoration perhaps.In other words, it was good value for Swiss money ! The lady at the reception.She seemed like she was too busy to answer queries.The man who was at the reception was very friendly, though he genuinely seemed to surrounded by many people, but even them he put on a smiling face & went about his job.The hotel was centrally located,really close to the railway station. |

Very centrally located for a brief visit to Geneva. Availability of Geneva Card for use on city transport. Buffet breakfast included in price. Showing its age - decor in need of a little "freshening up". Fairly expensive by most standards (although possibly not by those of Geneva). |

The location was great - right next to the train station with plenty of nearby shops and restaurants. The front desk service was wonderful - recommending stores, restaurants, sights, and information on trains. The breakfast was okay - croissants, bread, cereal. The room was a little noisy with the windows open (no A/C), but tolerable. The bathroom had a huge tub! |

It's cheap, and 5 mins from the railway station. The radiators were rusty, there was black mould on the ceiling, the bed was as small as a matchbooks. Hotel Moderne? Maybe 30 years ago. |

The hotel reception staff was friendly and very helpful. The Breakfast buffet had a very good variety of food to choose from. I booked this hotel because I had stayed here 4 years ago. I was very disappointed in the condition of the hallways and room. The appearance is very tired looking. The carpet, furnishings and bedspread in the room were stained and/or torn and the walls are badly in need of a fresh coat of paint. We did not even hangup our clothing in the closet. |

The croissants were good at breakfast. This was the only thing I liked about the hotel. The traffic noise made it impossible to get a good night's sleep .There was no bar /meeting area.The furnishings were extremely basic and the stairway carpet was 'tired' and grubby-looking.The Hotel Moderne does not live up to its name. I would rate it 1*, or 2* at the most. |

The staffs are polite and kind. The location is very good, by the way. It's very very noisy, like someone just takes the shower beside you bed, and a little bit dirty, and the double bed is not comfortable at all. |
