Hotel Moderne

Отель привлек сравнительно низкой ценой и центральным месторасположением - близко к вокзалу и к центральной части города.

К сожалению ожиданий отель не оправдал. Отдыхали в номере для четверых. Номера очень старые (пожалуй, только в ванной нормальный ремонт). Очень тесно - одна комната, между кроватями не пройти (через них надо переступать). Кондиционера в номере нет, есть только простенький вентилятор. Звукоизоляции нет, а район оказался очень шумный. Ночью уснуть не получилось из-за постоянного шума на улице и духоты в номере. Кроме того, в 8 утра (заезд в отель с 14:00) с моей карты сняли сумму брони. На мой вопрос персонал сказал, что эту сумму зарезервировали, а то что пришло уведомление о снятии средств - это проблема со всеми кредитными картами из России. С разблокировкой суммы потом были небольшие проблемы.

Хороший бюджетный отель. Удачное, на мой взгляд, месторасположение (1 мин. пешком до ж/д вокзала, пешеходная улица Монт-Блан, 2 мин. пешком до озера). По приезду дают бесплатно проездной на автобус, трамвай, водный трамвайчик, пригородные электрички). Завтрак стандартный для отелей такого уровня: чай, кофе, круасаны, хлопья, сыр, и даже была ветчина.

Очень тесный номер. Очень хорошие завтраки.

no ventilation, no air conditioning, room smells, old furniture, very hot in the room but if open window then noise from central street is very big, very poor breakfast (cornflakes and croasants)

I requested a shower, with my room, but was given a room with a tub. Half the light bulbs in the room were not functioning, therefore the room was very somber. The room I was given was not a pleasant or comfortable room. A friend tried to get in touch with me at the hotel, and the hotel staff was not very friendly or helpful to them.

Close to train station, close to stores and business center

The staff at the reception were very helpful and nice.

The rooms need renovation. The rooms look very old.

the rooms need to be refurbished, breakfast room is small and too crouded. all additional services like hairdryer, internet are not available in the rooms, you have to ask additionally (again this is for less busier people)

Correct service, near city center and cheap to be in Geneve.

Noisy

The name of the hotel is definitely not coinciding with the interior. Nevertheless it is close to the station and Starbucks is nearby.

Poor interior, especially the bathroom which requires a renovation. It holds brown tiles, which look worn and it has a shower curtain which obviously needs requires replacement.

Location near main railway station. Friendness off staff. Information booklet about a city.

It is really bad hotel

First of all I would like to thank booking for it’s services and taking care of costumer. Second, I didn’t stay at Hotel Moderne for some reasons. In fact, I arrived on Friday 31/7/2009 and I got in room number 445. In the med of the night there was noise around until morning but, I could not realize it if it is above or next to me, and I could not sleep until 6:00 am, so I called the receptionist and tolled him about the situation. At 9:00 am when I went outside I talked with the receptionist again and she said maybe this noise come from room r 446. I came back to hotel at 2:00 pm and tried to sleep but the noise stile there and I called the receptionist and she said we will resolve this problem, and about 30 minutes later the old woman

Hotel staff and facilities were reasonably good for such an affordable hotel.
