Hotel Schweizerhof  

駅前にあり、トラムの利用もとても便利です。ホテルスタッフも親切で 高級ホテルのようなラグジュアリー感も味わえます。朝食はメニューも豊富で パンは温かく、とても美味しかったです。

バスルームは明るく、清潔でアメニティーも充実していましたが、シャワーのお湯の出がとても悪く、ほとんど- チョロチョロといった感じでした。またお湯の- 温度も一定でなく、時々に水が出てとても寒かったです。10年程前に東欧を旅した時を思い出し、今時観光国- であるスイスバーゼルでこんな経験をするなんて 本当に残念です。シャワー設備を見直すと宿泊費がこの金額では無理なのでしょうか？

駅に近いところがよい

The location is unbeatable. Just in front of the main rail station and Basel station is beautiful. The room is also very nice and clean, with wooden flooring and well equipped with tea and coffee maker, hairdryer,free wifi.The hotel staffs, especially 2-3 young girls who check me in were very kind and professional. They do everything to meet my request and I'd like to thank them here. I changed hotel twice during my stay in Basel because each one has some inconvenience although they are also nice, but this one (last one I stayed) was perfect. I am a smoker and these days it isn't easy to find hotel who accept me.This hotel is non-smoking hotel but they have a separate lounge for smokers, gave me a room with balcony so that I can go out to smoke outside,in other word they don't treat smokers like criminal as many non smoking hotel do, all by keeping smoke free environment for non smoker.It was more expensive than the other hotels I stayed but for this perfection it is worth paying slightly more.

I wanted give them 10 out of 10 point but I hesitate a bit because I met 1 staff not very friendly as the other reviewers said. Compared to most of staffs, one elder staff was a bit cold and unfriendly although she did her job. Without meeting her on my way out it was totally perfect, so it is a bit pity.I'd like to emphasize that all other staffs were wonderful.

One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. Well renovated, but still elegant. The staff were excellent; professional and friendly. Fantastic location near the airport bus stop and train and tram hub.

Location is good..

Towels in bathroom have to be much more. Lightening system could be more efficient..

Every thing was excellent. The shower is a built room, two over one meter in area, not from plastic. I mean, the shower itself. The bathroom is much bigger. The shower faces a huge window that can be widely opened. Therefore, if you enjoy showering in pairs, this is really a shower for you. I did not realize that Swiss people are so romantic. The room has a perfect design and the blankets are soft and made of cotton. There is a free mini-bar for drinks and five free parking places in front of the hotel. You can reach the hotel with you car. Ask for instructions. Breakfast is excellent and you can get a cooked egg free of charge. You also get one ice cream. You can buy a combined package with the museum, which art lovers should not miss. The old city, at a walking distance, is very active. Go to the open pubs between the walls and river. An over night stay only but made welcome, pleasing and comfortable room, staff pleasant and helpful. Would definitely choose to stay again.

A big single room, a big bathroom, very good location

My 3rd stay as great as first two. Staff so friendly, great breakfast and great idea about access to extra free water and juices. Will go again.

Good location just opposite the train station and the tram stop. Need only 5 minutes by tram to reach the old town (15 minutes if you decide to walk). Room was quite big and well equipped. Comfortable bed. Reasonable price for Switzerland. Free parking spots available in front of the hotel. Staff was really nice. Breakfast was good too with a large choice of breads, cheese, ham, fruits and yogurt. I will definitively recommend this hotel

Location just near the railway station ; room on the backside, so quiet, good breakfast, helpful staff

Nothing...the only problem I had was a new client coming at midnight in his new room next to mine and speaking very loudly (he could have been told about that)

The location is superb - just a few steps from the sbb train station, the trams are right in front, the old town is a short leisurely walk. The staff are very efficient. The room is clean and spacious. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels, and only Hotel Schweizerhof offers free drinks to all its guests - bottled water, cola, iced tea and fruit juices are available absolutely free anytime of day or night (even the Club lounges of InterContinental don't operate 24/7, and you have to pay extra for access).

I had hoped to have a sunny side-up for breakfast at no extra cost.
