- The hotel parking and the bus stop in front of the hotel for reaching the town center. Small room, small tv, small wc, small breakfast. Everything was covering the basic needs. |

Room was situated in an old building with a balcony. Location is perfect, and breakfast was very good. Staff was helpful. In the hotel was nice restaurant where we had a dinner. |

Staff were friendly and they cooked in the evenings for guests, food was great, freshly cooked. Looking at the website I got the impression the hotel was on the edge of the town, but since reading reviews from previous guests I was a bit apprehensive about going there, as the reviews stated really busy road, very noisy and that the breakfast was in fact bread and jam and you had to pay extra for meat, cheese, cereal etc. If I had read the reviews before booking I probably wouldn't have gone there, but, it was actually better than I expected probably because I was aware of these important facts about the hotel. I would go back and would advise anyone going to take earplugs. |

The food and service in the restaurant were good and the location of the hotel relative to the city center was quite good. There is no soundproofing at all, so sounds in the hall, in neighboring rooms and in rooms on the other floor were easily audible. It was necessary to turn on the hall/stairway lights frequently, as the lights are on a short timer. This is not a good place to save money because it is annoying to the guests who must carry their own luggage up and down the stairs and hall. The lighting in the room and bathroom were extremely poor. The mirror in the bathroom was placed much too high to be of any use. The decoration and bedding were not attractive. Except for the restaurant, the hotel seemed more like a pension than a hotel. The breakfast was not competitive in quality or price to those in other hotels where we stayed on the same holiday |

The staff who received us was very friendly. The bus-stop is immediately outside the hotel which may the travelling to the city center very easy (10 mins). The mirror in the bathroom was too high, and I could hardly see myself!! |

Perfekt hotel nice staff and good kitchen! Clean, friendly and we felt like at home thanks for the good hospitality! Spacious rooms and the hotel has a big charme! Breakfast could be a little bit bigger, but for the price was O.K.! |

The hotel is in front of a bus station, only a few stops from the main town centre. Bus is the main mode of transport within the city. Facilities are basic but adequate and there is free internet at reception for guests. The staff were really helpful and nice. The included breakast consists of just tea/coffee and too much bread. You can get cereal and other things but there is extra charge for those. It's a budget hotel (for Swiss stds) so you can't really complain. If you want more you need to be willing to spend more!! |

Hotel Spatz is very easy to find and on a main road. The location was great as it took us only about 15-20 minutes to walk to the river in town. However, the bus stops right in front of the hotel, too. The gal at the front desk was very friendly, explained the free Internet and breakfast availabilities. We had free parking on the premises. There is a restaurant at the hotel, but it was not open one of the nights we were there. We had a front road room which was a little noisey with traffic, but when we asked for a different room the next morning, we were gladly moved to a back room that was more quiet. Both rooms were spacious and both had nice bathrooms. Breakfast was small, but quite OK. One can also purchase additional items. I would always ask for a room on the back side to avoid the street noise should it be warm enough to require the windows to be open. But it really wasn't that big of a problem. |

It's fine for one night, just to rest during a longer road trip. Friendly staff, great food, in a great city. Everything is a bit old, some things are broken like the tv and the light in our bathroom. The beds differs in each room, some are great, but some are awfull. |

Location was spot-on as it was near city-centre and the bus stop was located just outside the hotel. Hotel staff was friendly. The hotel is situated along the main road so expect to be awakened by traffic. Other than that, no complaints. |

The hotel is located at walking distance from the historical center of the city. Breakfast is ok, but rather limited and noisy environment. The accomodation is ok for a short stay. No functional airconditioning, limited parking place and rather busy environment. (lot of car traffic and train passing by) |

we liked that it was a large room, close location to the old town, and private parking. free wifi internet. That is all. Permeating cigarette smoke throughout the halls. I could not stand up in the shower and had to stick my head out a window throught the roof. Terrible shower. The breakfast was bad. the add said free buffet breakfast and all it was was a small basket if bread and terrible coffee. The blanks/sheets also smelled like urine although they appeared clean. Just hope that you don't stay in room 27. |

Hotel has good security. Rooms are very clean and have a nice view of the mountains. The staff are very helpful & helped us with our luggage. Bus stop is just outside the frount door and not far from city centre. Breakfast was very basic, some bread with jam and tea or coffee, you had to pay if you wanted anything more. |

The budget place to stay at the riverside with the mountain view. Our hotel is situated in the old town of Lucerne only a few minutes from the station, the lake and the shopping area. |
The Etap Hotel enjoys a quiet yet central location in Luzern with the Old Town, the lake, the station and the congress centre being easily reachable on foot. |
The Falken boutique hotel is located in the world-famous old town of Lucerne. Historic buildings, a wealth of shopping attractions, and the Kapellbrücke (Chapel Bridge) are at your doorstep. |
The Hotel Waldstätterhof is located by the railway station, and is also close to the lake, the old town and the culture and congress centre. |
