This 200 year old patrician estate with a lot of history, is bordered by an attractive quaint village, where Herrman Hesse spent many precious hours. The 40 bed hotel is managed and owned by the family Deuber-Marty. Each room is individually decorated and furnished with antique pieces. Our garden is a small paradise, in which one may enjoy breakfast outside; lounge around in the sun or shady spots and play table tennis. It also features a children's pool, grape pergola and a restaurant for healthy meals
The villa is a patrician building with a long history dating back 200 years. It is located in a charming village where the famous German poet and author Hermann Hesse also spent his holidays. Our romantic hotel offers 40 beds and is privately run.
All rooms are equipped with antique decoration and accessories Our garden is a paradise where you can relax and unwind. You can also have breakfast outside, sunbathe on the canvas chairs or play table tennis. There is a children's pool in the garden and a restaurant on site.
Each room is individually decorated and furnished with antique pieces.
Single rooms
Our colourful designer single rooms are provided with a shower, toilet, alarm clock and telephone (direct line out).
Double rooms and double rooms superior
Our spacious double rooms all have a bath or shower, toilet, alarm clock, telephone (direct line out) and are individually decorated. The double rooms superior are larger than our standard double rooms. Also available on request are double rooms that have interconnecting doors.
Suite and Junior Suite
The Suites, similar to the double rooms include an additional room and are thereby made up of two double rooms. This arrangement is especially suited for family lodging.
Situated at 602m above sea level, built by artists and uniquely situated between Monte San Salvatore and Monte Arbostora (822m) stands a 1000 year old village. The town hosts approximately 600 inhabitants which doubles during the summer months. Endless possibilities present themselves to enrich your vacation to your heart’s content. The following guide as well as comprehensive brochures on hand best inform one about the history and culture of this picturesque village. For shopping or greater cultural experience concerts, museums or even business the city of Lugano only 10 minutes away by car or bus lies at ones feet.

The location and setting were stunning, with lovely gardens to sit and eat in, it was like having your own villa
No air-conditioning but the weather was great at the time

Wer gerne ein stadtnahes Hotel mit mediterraner Ausstattung, hübschem Garten, fantastischem Restaurant und ganz persönlicher Betreuung sucht findet hier ein unvergleichlich gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nahe von Lugano - und erst noch gut mit dem öffentlichen Verkehr erreichbar.
