The Blues Bar offers a quiet setting in the late afternoon or after dinner. It is open daily from 15:00 to midnight.
You can choose among 30 different cruises on Lake Lugano (pier is 5 minutes' walk from the hotel).
Within a 10-minute walk you can reach the Ciani park overlooking the shore of Lake Lugano. This is the city’s green lung and a quiet place for relaxing walks.
The Santa Maria degli Angeli church dating from 1515 with the famous fresco of Bernardino Luini is located just next to the hotel.
The Lugano casino is just a pleasant walk along the lake away.
Pets are not permitted in the restaurant, in the garden or around the swimming pool.

We took demi-pension and were pleased to eat in as evenings were cold and damp.Walking to the centre of town, to boat tours etc. was very convenient. That our first night was double the price we had agreed for the four days. |

For location, for comfort, design and furnishingt of common parts and for position in front of lake and close to shopping area Standard rooms are dark.. Next time I shall ask a room with lake view even though these rooms are more expensive |

I was looking for the "Evelyn Waugh stories" experience, and this fulfilled it in spades. With its turn-of- the century feel. Old, but elegant, (staff and guests) and the fine furnishings of an era gone by . The room we were given was simply superb, with its high ceilings and fine windows and drapes. Probably the best hotel room of that design I have ever stayed in. The place was immaculate I found the old established staff a bit stolid and teutonic for my taste, but the front desk staff were warm and approachable. |

The thing I feel the most memorable is the hotel decoration whicfwiw so beautiful and warm. The good serving attitude of all the staff, which makes us feel like home. Not even mention the location is perfect. The breakfast serving as there is no varieties. |

We stayed 2 nights whilst touring the lakes and had free up-grade to lakeview room with full width balcony - beautiful views. good parking facilities at reasonable cost for Lugano centre. Hotel is well located on lakeside at end of main shopping street (Via Nassa) 5 minutes from old town and ferry landing stage. Nice pool and garden area. |

the location was perfect next to everything the view from the room was like in a postcard and the acces to everything could not have beeing better they did send a mini bus at the train station as requested because we had heavy lugage but 5 minute drive cost me 14.90 chf they should offer a free pickup upon arrival . |
