the location was perfect next to everything the view from the room was like in a postcard and the acces to everything could not have beeing better they did send a mini bus at the train station as requested because we had heavy lugage but 5 minute drive cost me 14.90 chf they should offer a free pickup upon arrival . |

The location was central . Rooms were clean. The old hotel interior design needs badly a renovation. Sockets in the room were from another era. Breakfast was indeferent and poor. Generaly the hotel seemed neglected. |

The city is fantastic and the terrace at the hotel was great. We booked a double bed and were given twin beds. |

The hotel is very accessible from all types of transportation. We took the funicular from the train station and the hotel is just a few distance away. Moreso, the hotel is within the shopping area and just footsteps away from Lake Lugano. There was noise from the upper floors of the hotel. There were doors banging and you can hear footsteps of the hotel occupants staying in the upper floor. |

It's location, lake side view. There were no vegetables at all for breakfast. It would be great to have some tomatos or cucambers etc., not only bread, cheese and sausage |

The history of the hotel and the natural beauty of the area, as well as the staff, who were very accommodating. There were stains on the carpet in our room and some crude (dirt) around the edges in the bathroom. |
