Everything!! The friendly staff, the atmosphere, the facilities (not that I could use the pool due to the weather!), the breakfasts......as I was travelling as a single middle-aged woman, I felt very comfortable there. It was an excellent location for a short visit to Lugano, near to the station, lake, shops and museums. Nothing at all - for me it was perfect. |

I flooded the bathtub and the receptionist was nice to provide me with a new room. The breakfast was good as well. Receptionist was friendly to help with directions and introduce good spots at lausanne. |

The location. It is near the lake. The breakfast is poor. The rooms was old furnished. It needs a restoration. Our rooms were in the back side and the view from there wasn't good. |

Single room with lake view for 130 francs/night seemed like a bargain for a centrally located hotel of this quality. Hotel operation seems highly professional. Staff have no problem communicating with English-speaking guests and were helpful on the few occasions when I asked for assistance. Facilities were modern and in good working order. I was unsuccessful in accessng their wireless Internet network on the one time I tried to do so. |
