The ultra-modern Solothurn Youth Hostel is conveniently located a 5-minute stroll from the train station. The hostel offers free Wi-Fi and a panoramic rooftop terrace. Here, guests can enjoy sleek interior design, housed in a steel and glass building that was originally a trading and customs house. All accommodation units at the Youth Hostel Solothurn are decorated with modern furniture. Some have their own private shower, while others have shared bathroom facilities. Normalerweise sind wir im Hotel. War aber nur noch ein Zimmer in der Jugi. Ganze Stadt ausgebucht !! Wir waren positiv überrascht. Wundervolle Lage und ein super Frühstück. Ideal wenn man nur einen Schlafplatz sucht.

Randalierende Genossen im Nachbarszimmer hielten die halbe Jugi wach. Meiner Meinung nach hätte die Jugileitung schneller (nach dem 1. Anruf um 00.30 Uhr und nicht ernst beim 2. Anruf zwei Stunden später) reagieren und für Ordnung sorgen sollen.

Die Jugendherberge ist auch für ältere Semester sehr angenehm. Für ökologisch denkende ist es der richtige Ort.

施設、朝食、スタッフ、この値段にしてはよかった。スイスでこのCPはうれしい スタッフに調べてもらったバスが、指定曜日運行だった。電車でそのバス停にいったが、その日バスはなかった- ･･･。 お湯をもらえない。持参したコーヒーや紅茶がのめなかった。かなりのマイナスポイント。 給湯室的なものがなく、お湯がほしければ有料のコーヒーメーカのお茶のところからお湯をだして使えと（たし- か３CHF？２００円くらい？）

Great location near SBB station and the center of town. Inside was great fun for kids; clean and simple comfort with a good breakfast. Staff are young, enthusiastic and can cook which makes a difference even at breakfast-time.

It's location on the riverside of a beautiful little city and it's clever use of the internal space of an old building. The staff were very helpful and a couple of bottles of the local ale were very welcome ! It was great to have a double room with a comfortable bed and an en-suite toilet and shower which functioned perfectly - although there were no evening meals served while we were there the breakfast was good and there were plenty of good value places to eat close by and a waterside bar just opposite. We had a lovely few days here ! As there were no meals provided during the day or evening, we wanted to use the kitchen to self cater but it was pretty basic ! Luckily it was adequate for our needs but this would have been a problem if there had been more people wanting to cook as there was only one hotplate. This aside as it worked for us, the only other slight moan would be the lighting in the room which was not very good and made it feel rather gloomy ! These are pretty trivial though and we had a very enjoyable stay at a reasonable ( for Switzerland ) price !!
