Surrounded by the picturesque mountain landscape of the Saanenland in the Bernese Oberland, our newly renovated Hotel Kernen is a paradise for lovers of sports, nature, gourmet food, entertainment and relaxation.
The rooms are rustically but elegantly furnished, and most have a balcony with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. In every season the hotel is an ideal starting point to the hiking paths and mountain bike trails, as well as the ski slopes and cross-country ski runs of the Gstaad-Saanenland region. The hotel is within easy walking distance of all these activities.

Area information
Glacier 3000 is a unique glacier skiing and hiking area, offering wonderful views of the Alps, including Mont Blanc, and the world’s highest roller coaster. Other attractions include Gruyère Castle, the cheese factory in Château d'Oex, the museums of local tradition in Saanen and Zweisimmen, as well as the Tennis Swiss Open, the Menuhin Festival, the Country Music Festival and the Polo Gold Cup in Gstaad.
