Excellent location near to Central Station, tram, sights, restaurants and shops. Cosy, stylish hotel with attention to detail and interior design, welcoming and efficient staff. Very good though costly breakfast. Coffee/tea machine and free wifi is an extra plus. For Geneva reasonably priced. Second time there and again very good experience. Nothing to really dislike about the Kipling Manotel. It's a solid property.

The hotel was for a business trip. I found the location very convenient as it was very close to tram lines (best way to travel in Geneva) and I liked the comopolitan feel of the area which had a good selection of shops, bars and resturants close by. The hotel was stylish and the staff very helpful, and the room was quite spacious. I liked the free WiFi. I travel a lot and one hotel merges into another. I will remember this one.

Friendly staff, nice design, clean, well-appointed rooms, handy location. No restaurant. Just breakfast and a bar. They could provide a better room service service by using their partner hotels nearby to provide some basic meals.

Lovely room with good space and excellent furnishings. Close to the train station - I stayed only one night before taking an early train. Bed was a little hard for my taste.

Good location a few minutes walk from the station & not far from the lake. Quiet street near the red light area so lots of bars & restaurants to chose from. Easy to walk around the city from here & close to lots of public transport routes. Found the bed a little hard & the room a bit hot - there is air con/heating if you need it. Rooms a little bland & corporate but they have tried to create a colonial style.

Hotel is really nice, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Situated in a quiet place. The lake is 3 minutes walk - really close. A bit oriental - aroma sticks in the lobby, and a few details around. The bathroom is spacious, as well as the room itself. Liked it alot, would definitely recommend. Not the best pillows I have slept on. So is the blanket. Not so many places to eat around.

This hotel is more than its 3star rating. Its like a 4star. Clean, comfortable room, impecable bathroom. The staff is excellent, we asked for diner reservation in close by restaurants and they called each restaurant giving us many choices Very well informed. I had the flu and they were more than helpful providing whatever we needed. The room was delightful, very nice decor, big comfortable bed with great linen. Honestly amazing value for money. It is rarely that a hotel exceeds your expectations. I am glad we made that choice and definitely would stay ther again. Also really close by to the main station, 3 minute walk!

Hotel is located really close to the central train staion, however, the neighborhood around it is not nice. Especially at nights I would not recommend to walk around the hotel.

The room is very nicely designed up to the details. Felt better than average 3 star hotels. The business centre is well-equiped and free for use. The location is near the main train station but is in a rather dark and quiet corner. Might not be a good choice for solo female travellers.

An excellent hotel in all ways. The staff went out of their way to help us out, and were friendly and courteous. The room was modern, clean, quiet, and roomy. The hotel is very close to the train station and a quick walk to the center of town. I highly recommend this hotel!!

Very friendly and responsive staff, a lot of small things that make the staying very comfortable: breakfast time and food selection, tea-cattle in the room, clean beds and perfect pillows, tv channels in English, the furniture and overall design in the room are perfect for relaxed and restful staying. Great maid services. Very good hotel with excellent staff.

Nice clean rooms and design. Good location. Bed mattress was old and uncomfortable. Hair dryer and scale did not work.

Very comfortable roon with fresh clean feel. Requested room on top floor w balcony and was fulfilled. V happy with stay. Very reasonably priced.

This is a great value of the hotel with a good service, proximity to the centre and unique room design I do not want to change the image of the hotel, because overall it is a very good value for money. To comment, there was noise outside during the night from drunked people that woke me up. Then it became quiet again.

Price, design & location. The hit was to high and the air contioner don't work well. The parking costs 30 CHF per day.

I liked the style of the rooms, everything Kipling themed! The reception was hardly staffed, so at some moments I felt unsafe. The fitness isn't at the Hotel Royal and it's facilities are quiet poor.

Good level for a 3* Staff is helpful The Hotel is located in the red district but the main problem is that a lot of drug dealers populate the area. I' did't have any problem but I wouldn't feel safe walking around with my wife, girlfriend or kids
