The Hotel Kreuz can be found in the quiet village of Leissigen, 8 km from Interlaken. It offers rooms with balconies and panoramic views over Lake Thun and the surrounding mountains. There is a sunbathing lawn with deck-chairs at the lakeside, where you can also rent a rowing boat from the Hotel Kreuz. Swiss and international cuisine including fresh fish from the lake is served in the restaurant, featuring a lake-view terrace. Half board includes a 4-course dinner (choice of 3 main dishes). It was one of the worst experince of mine , we landed there in the night whereas our booking was from next day morning thinking that the hotel will be flxible enough to accomodate us but to our dismay the door was closed with note to call the mobile no. . Whne we called the mobile no someone picked it after 10 mins nad then cam eout from a different building and started shouting on us th ereason for disturbing his sleep .We all got scared becuse he was drunk and threw papers on me and went back in the same building . Thanks to our bus driver who persuaded him and then he took us inside the hotel but only after he swiped our card for 3 nights in advance. Scary experience , all the story of swiss hospitality goes for a toss and I will strongly ask my friends to not to consider this hotel for theri stay and a peice of advise to booking.com to hae some selection citerion before they put any hotel on their site .

The views of the Thunersee lake from the restaurant, although we had a room at the back looking over the village. The restaurant was worth visiting, although pricey. The rooms were small and cramped. There is no air conditioning and to get any air you need to open the window, which we did. Opening the window meant opening our room for the world to see and for the noise to come in from the street just below which happened until around 3am in the morning. The breakfast food was just ok. We stayed in numerous hotels on our visit to Europe and this one is at the bottom of the places we stayed at.

If you get a room facing the lake, the view is really nice. The size of the room--it was really small. The room looked and felt very old, with squashed mosquitos on the wall and ceiling. The beds are really short. The worst was the wc, full of stains inside. At the restaurant we requested twice a table outside (once for breakfast), and despite there were obviously places we were told to sit inside. Totally not customer oriented.

The location is perfect, just infront of the lack, but the train is a bit noisy. The old leady in the resturant was very rude and aggressive. If she has any attitude issue serving peaple, I suggest she do something else in the hotel. Rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely view of the lake from the balcony, unfortunately a train runs quite frequently in front of the hotel but the noise didn't bother us. The buffet breakfast was very good.

السرير فقط كان مريح الحمام كان فيه مشكله في التصريف والماء كان يخرج لداخل الغرفه وعند الاتصال بالرسيبشن تم حل المشكله , هناك رائحه داخل الغرفه ويمكن ان يكون السبب الفرش جديد , الفطور سيء للغايه لا يجود خيارات متعدده

Pour les chambres côtés lac... La vue est incroyable. Un pur bonheur. Le petit déjeuner, fantastique. Confort du lit moyen. Salle de bain mini. Resto le soir pas fantastique (mais bon j'ai mangé qu'une seule fois)
