We found the hotel staff very friendly and extremely helpful. The food was excellent in the restaurant and room was very comfortable. Very nice hotel.

Everything! One small drawback was the lengthy ringing of the nearby church bells very early on Sunday morning. A tradition that shouldn't be changed however

The room where I stayed was very spacious, the bathroom had a nice tub. In the room, there was a good speed and free cable internet access, spacious beds and great view of the lake of Sarnen and mountains. The Hotel is on the way to Allggy (Swiss Central Point) and very close to Flüeli/Ranft, besides it's near Sarnen, Luzern and Interlaken. As it was summer in Switzerland and the weather was very hot, just missed an air conditioner, but it didn't affect the stay, since the large windows met demand. In the restaurant, the menu would be nice if there were more typical Swiss dishes.

Sehr netter Empfang, saubere komfortable Zimmer in geschichtsträchtigem Haus. Das schmucke Dorf liegt an einem kleinen See, der zum baden einlädt. Sehr guter ÖV-Anschluss und wunderbares Wandergebiet.

Das Hotel liegt zentral im Dorf und ist ein schönes historisches Gebäude. Schönes Restaurant, schöne Sonnenterrasse, sehr freundliche Bedienung im Restaurant. Die Zimmer sind neu renoviert und haben keinen Teppich, was ich sehr schätze. Das Hotel liegt diret neben der Kirche. Morgens um sechs wird man vom sehr lauten Glockengeläute geweckt!

Die Zimmer sind wunderschön und mit antiken Möbeln eingerichtet. In diesem Fall entsprechen die abgebildeten Fotos tatsächlich auch dem gebuchten Zimmer - das ist bei vielen Hotels nicht der Fall. Die Mitarbeiter sind überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das einzige, was störend sein könnte, sind die Kirchturmglocken an der benachbarten Kirche, die bis 22 Uhr und ab 6 Uhr regelmässig bimmeln. Uns persönlich hat das jedoch nicht gestört.

Calme, le service, le personnel, le petit-déjeuner riche, le plaisir de retrouver l'hôtel où nous avions travaillé et où nous nous sommes connus avec mon mari et d'y fêter nos 30 ans de mariage ! Les cloches ;-)

Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Moderne Ausstattung, schöne Zimmer.. Nur dass die Kirchenglocken früh am morgen läuten, nächstesmal buchen wir ein Zimmer auf die Rückseite.
