Location - 5 minutes walk to Bern Bahnhof, 5 minutes to Zytglogge, 2 minutes to Baren Platz. My room was very quiet and clean, the room is better than in other hotels of this price level in the downtown of Bern. Free coffee / tee making facilities and free internet on the floor. Breakfast is included in the room rate (this wasn't advertised at booking.com, but happened to be the case when I was checking in). My room had better rate than other hotels in this area offer, and it was value for money. Breakfast requires some simple, but important improvements: cheese and meat should be cut in the morning so that they are fresh. The omlette pan was always empty so I haven't had a chance to eat it. Besides that, the Swisscom mobile hotspot `Kreuz Bern' doesn't work properly: both wifi and internet connections drop approximately every 1 minute. This is not a big problem, however, since free internet is available. |

I liked the room, the roof terrace with views, the free internet access, the free tea/coffee available, the location, the lifts, the breakfast. Only one problem that I can think of: my room was on 5th floor overlooking street. It was Sat night and there was significant noise from the street until after 04.00. |

They gave us a room in the converted attic with sloping walls, exposed beams and windows that barely opened. It was blasting hot, there was no air conditioning and not even a fan. Street noise echoed very loudly in the room. |

Facilities and services are ok Yes, the rooms at streetside suffer from heavy noise early morning, caused by trucks, reloading shops, restaurants and hotels |

The hotel is located near the train station in the old town part of Bern. So location is the number one asset. We had a great view from our room, plus there is an open air observation deck on the roof that was great. The breakfast was good. Our room was noisy from street noise throughout the night, so we had a disturbed sleep. Otherwise it was a fine stay. |

Good central location, althought in the center of Bern it is quiet. The view from the roof-top terrasse is very nice, and there's a free internet room with 2 PCs + a plug for own laptop + a tea/coffee room (also free), very nice in an expensive city ! Overall a very nice and convinient hotel. No airco in the room and when it's hot outside then it's very hot in the rooms and difficult to sleep. |

very well situated (near shops and train station) in a nice old street (unfortunatelly noisy at night) - clean and nice - free coffee and tea facilities - nice breackfast - nice room - nice and helpfull staff (could leave our bags after checkout and wrote us directions and bus numbers to take on a map). no air conditioning (wich did not afect us too much at this period of the year (april) but noisy street so if your coming in summer ask for a room not facing the street otherwise no problem at all ... |

Excellent location Room wasn't warm enough, was small and wasn't really insulated enough from external noise including other guests slamming doors. Ok if you don't want to spend much time there. |
