Great central location. Nice, clean room. Friendly staff. Although the room was towards courtyard, the church-bells were ringing all night(!). The room was poorly isolated, so all the noises from inside the hotel were also disturbing.

Great location They were doing some renovations so lots of noise early in the morning without any notice. When we booked the description of the hotel did not mention that they were doing some renovation and when we checked in also nothing was mentioned. We should have got a better rate due to the fact that it was very loud. If I had known about the renovation I would not have stayed there, it wad definitely not worth the money.

Location was Good. Room was very austere, stark, prison-moderne like. It was way overpriced,a Rip-Off (worst of our European vacation for sure!!!), and I will never pay that much money to stay there EVER. The Macedonian inn keeper at night was very nice, friendly and courteous. I will recemmened to my friends NOT to ever stay at Hotel Kreuz Bern, EVERE, NEVER-EVER. Location and comfort. Rooms with smell of cigarrets and don't have one luggage room to put the bags, just small lockers where you have to pay.

Location is very central (close to railway station) and rooms are clean. For some reason, this hotel seems to be overrated on Booking.com site - there is certainly nothing special about this hotel. Rooms are clean, but humble and rugged. Breakfast room reminds me about hostels and breakfast itself is substandard. Friendly staff could compensate for a lot of minor shortcomings, but it seemed that the staff had no clue even about basic customer service.

The location was excellent, right in the middle of the city. Also very close to the train station. The room was very clean, No street noise, Reception staff were very helpful.Breakfast was included in the price and there would be something to please any palet. there wasn't any internet conection in the room. but there was a place you could take your laptop and get a conection in a lounge on another level.I didn't bother so really not much of a complaint.

We were staying the night whilst travelling by train from Geneva to the bernese oberland. It was near the train station and in the very centre of things. Reasonably priced, comfortable and very clean with excellent service and facilities. I would stay there again.

It was very convenient to the centre of Bern, and I could walk to my conference venue through the beautiful old town. I got a last minute deal for my single room which made it affordable, the full price of 290chf per night would be too much for this room.

The Hotel is a good hotel in Berne city Centre. It is closed to the Parliament square and to the Main Road and about 5 mins by foot from the Central Raylway Station. We were at 5 floor and the room was very quite, clean but it is very small and also the bathroom is very very small!! The breakfast is very good and at first floor there is also a good bar/restaurant where we can eat the specialty of the area (as fried apple) Room very small

I liked the location. I did not like that smoke travelled all over the hotel because of it's interesting design. The front desk staff was (for the most part) unfriendly The internet kept breaking down.

Reasonably priced for Swiss city location hotel, good locaiton in the older part of town 10 mins walk from the main station. Not fancy being more like a 'pension' style accomodation but adequate - ok for 1-2 night business stop-over, or no-frills, cost-conscious leisure trip. Reasonable breakfast included in the price which is a good bonus compared to some chain hotels. Wifi or internet access from rooms would have been nice but a wired internet connection for a laptop, 2 internet connected computers and printer available free of charge on 3rd floor - no real issue for me but others might find this a constraint.

Good access to railway station, which we needed. Facilities of hotel are fine. I would avoid a Fri or Sat night here (we were there on a Sat & Sun night), because there ws a lot of noise from the outside from revellers until about 3am. Noise outside carries up to room a lot.. We found Bern depressing, other places looked better, such as Thurn.

The only thing worth mentioning was the breakfast tha was quite good. The rest of the hotel is really shamefull. I did not like the cheap, awful looking room furniture. The last century tv, the fact that a hotel at this pice did not care to put a minibar. The absurd price for wifi internet. The shameful game room. The shameful tea and coffee facilities. The hotel is overpriced and really unpleasent. I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. Very bad for Bern.
