Hotel Kreuz Bern    

breakfast was outstanding. the ability to store our luggage in a locker was very appreciated.

the staff was often not at the desk because they were out back smoking! and the smoke permeated the lobby so that all the guests smelled was smoke each time we entered the lobby. disgusting. absolutely disgusting. also needed a computer in the lobby.

Loved that they had lockers to lock up our bags after we had checked out. Loved that they had a complimentary tea room and breakfast room. The Location was amazing!

You had to pay for Internet.

Great location in old city center. Rooms are a bit small, but this the old city center and it was expected. Nice staff.

Parking is offsite in public garage.

Excellent location. Hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Lockers for the luggage that you want to leave in the hotel before the check-in or after the check-out is really a great idea !

Location is excellent

Beds and pillows uncomfortable. Floors creak very loudly. Walls are paper thin - other guests were VERY loud late into the night and up early in the morning. I would not recommend this hotel if you need to sleep.

Helpful front desk. Room is very big but lack of facilities.

There is no heater in the room and the bed is very soft.

Position was central.

I thought a non-smoking room was just that, not a room where you can smoke one day and not the next, ours 'reeked' of stale smoke from previous guests who must have smoked in the same room, really not what we expected! Also there was mould in the bathroom corners, this is most unusual for a Swiss Hotel, where 'cleanliness' is next to 'godliness', a must watch!

Right in the city centre. Staff are nice. The room is roommy and clean. An I like the bath in the bath room.

Great breakfast, close to train station & buses, center of town, wonderful market sets up just around the corner, surrounded by shopping, special amenities like game room, hot drink station, washer & dryer.

Beds were very soft and bathroom was tiny.

It was very close to the old section of Bern - and very close to the train station, an easy walk. Nice room.

Staff was competent and professional, but made little effort to make our stay personal or special in any way. They did get our room ready one hour earlier which was nice.
