The ambience and closeness to the hisoric area, river and city. The 92 stairs to the top but without them, you miss so much. |

the room was extremely simply furnished, extremely hot and facing the court where customers of the restaurant could be heard ! until after 1am and the staff started to prepare the tables for breakfast at 5 am. A lot of money for no sleep at all |

The hotel was not a typical chain hotel - it had individual character and warmth and provided a relaxing atmosphere very close to the centre of Basel. |

Les chambres étaient très bien agencées. Pas de tapis - pour les personnes allergiques un plus. Le déjeuner était excellent. Hotel très bien situé. En Suisse les hotels ne proposent pas internet gratuitement. Un service qui devrait se développer! |

Centraat gelegen vlakbij het oude centrum van Basel. Mooie kamer. Goed restaurant. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Geen lift. We hebben zelf onze valiezen via een oude trap naar de derde verdieping moeten sleuren. Idem bij ons vertrek. |

Lieu original et bien situé pour découvrir la ville de Bâle L'absence d'ascenceur dans la partie "art" devrait être précisé ainsi que le fait que seulement un des deux batiments a des chambres décorées par des artistes, le deuxième comporte des chambres "normales" bien qu'au même prix que les premières |

Ein in sich stimmiges Setting, Komfort ohne Schnickschnack, und zum Verwöhnen ein ausgezeichnetes Restaurant im Freien ... dass man bei offenem Fenster (wie sonst im Hochsommer in Zimmer 6 ?) punkt 5 Uhr durch das erste Tram geweckt wird |

gezellig stadshotel, goed gelegen , midden in oude centrum. authentiek pand. Sfeervolle ambiance. Voor mensen, die slecht ter been zijn, lijkt me dit geen geschikt hotel. Is er een lift? Niet gezien. |
