“ What an amazing locatin in the Appenzell Alps. Beautiful scenery, large, comfortable rooms with gorgeous views. The family owners of the hotel were warm and friendly and easily the most accommodating people we met. Nothing was too difficult. A real bonus was the local food, beer and wine. Dinner was superb and we even had local produce for breakfast. 12 out of 10 for this experience! ”

V friendly and helpful staff good food and convenient location walks straight outside so didn't need car everyday spa area after long day hiking Also got a caravan park on site so if sleep with window open can hear early morning risers our room was at front so over outside café area if want to relax in room could be quite noisy

The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent for both dinner and breakfast - definitely above the normal standard The room were very clean with comfortable beds. The hotel is undergoing renovations.

We really liked this hotel because it was more typical of switzerland & what we hoped to find there. The food was very good & the staff were wonderful happy people. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would definitely recommend it.

The family and staff were really friendly, nothing too much trouble for them, room was very clean and spacious, with the building works going on this year the hotel will be much more luxurious in 2013.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich! Ausnahmslos alle haben uns extrem herzlich begrüsst und betreut. Sehr gut geführtes Hotel!

La grande cortesia dello staff. Il ristorante di ottimo livello; la colazione, inclusa nel prezzo della camera, raffinata ed abbondante. L'albergo è un po' fuori paese, ma ne trae grande beneficio per la tranquillità ed il paesaggio incantevole.

L'accueil des patrons et du personnel, ils se sont donné tous beaucoup de peine à nous expliquer les choses à nous qui ne parlons pas du tout l'allemand, le lieu magnifique, l'hôtel est très joli
