The room was spacious, with a great view of the lake. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. A place to park the car near by was very convenient. |

The reception staff were especially friendly and welcoming. The hotel is quite old but well cared for and had a nice old world feel. Breakfast room was pleasant overlooking the mountains. The rooms were quiet. No. The warm welcome was worth the steep climb up from the station. Next time we would take a cab from the station. |

Nice staff, free local transportation card, free wireless internet which worked very well. Nice views. The towels were small and thin. Breakfast items not replenished promptly. The shower-head kept falling down. |

breakfast was very nice. staffs were kind. it's bit expensive. walking up the hill from the train station was hard with the luggage. they should inform the way about using the escalator and elevator from downhill which i found myself. it's much easier. |

One of the best services we have ever had in a hotel. The owner and the staff are very-very polite, helpful and interested in our needs. The breakfast was wonderful, full of fresh products. Clean and big rooms. |

Breakfast was good, with fresh fruit, good selection of foods. The lip on the shower screen was quite high and made it difficult and even dangerous to step over it to stand in the bath to use the shower. Even using a small stool to assist was difficult |

We were made welcome by the owner from the moment we stepped in the door. Very professional people. Room was better than expected. Very clean and spacious. Magnificent views from rooms at the rear of the hotel and breakfast was more than adequate with good choice of foods. very well located, however if you are lugging heavy suitcases from the railway station a taxi is a must. Staff are helpful in pointing out places to see and communicate equally well in english as they do in there native language. I was`surprised this is not rated more than 3 star, given room quality and welcoming professionalism of all staff we spoke with. Highly recommend - you won't be dissapointed. No downside. |

Very helpful staff; central position in St Moritz Dorf with great views over the lake/mountains. Hotel has a traditional feel to it with lots of pine panelling finishes and furniture. A small hotel offering just bed and breakfast terms. During the summer it offers the “Bergbahnen Inclusive” to anyone staying two nights or more – which gives you the free use of all local bus, train, funicular railway and gondola rides for the duration of your stay in the Engadine. As one mountain ride to a mountain peak can cost up to 54 CHF, this is a very worthwhile bonus offered by about 90 hotels in the valley. The hotel also has free parking and Wi-Fi. Rather cramped bathroom. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room no mini-fridge - even though the room was 295 CHF (£165) per night. |

very nice and helpful staff, great hospitality, excellent breakfast, comfortable room, location is good (if u know the road to the city centre & train station... only 10 min) unclear directions (its an easy 15 min walk through the art centre's elevator, OR 25 min walk uphill ... with your luggage) |
