good location, no nonesense athmospheric hotel with great services bathroom bit small and door touching toilet when closing door.Also the washbasin stand got sharp edges very close to toilet on which you can hurt yourself trying to sit down on toilet. this is a hotel for active people who enjoying being in the moutains an wintersports as its location is high up the mountain with lots of stairs.

The owners and staff we amazing! Very friendly and super helpful. They helped us with translation and helped us find things to do when our plans fell through. We had a great time and would love to go back if we could!

The staff were friendly. The view from our small balcony was wonderful. Each morning we had a lovely breakfast on the terrace on the sunshine. The hotel was on a hill and there was not much space to park the car . The bathroom was a little cramp.

My husband and I were initially unaware of how far Leysin was from Montreux (we were going to the Jazz Festival) and it was quite a distance; however, we were absolutely delighted to be away from the crowds in the late evening and early mornings and just enjoy the tranquillity of the Vaudoise mountain views. The room was quite spacious and the views were spectacular! The breakfast was very good with good choices of breads, fruit, coffees, etc. The bed linens and the bathroom, especially the shower, could use an update. I couldn't find a plug in the bathroom for my flat iron. I would also recommend a having a small refrigerator in the room.

The view from the balcony in our room was excellent. The room was well designed and quite large. Although it was a very nice location it was a bit difficult to find.

The rooms are clean. The view is beautiful and there is no noise during the night. There is a living room with a small bar and a very nice fireplace.Outside there is a jacuzzi, good after the ski. The room was too hot the fist night but perfect the other nights with the heater switched off.

La gentillesse et la sympathie du personnel !!!!!! Lors de mon arrivé à l'hôtel il n'y avait aucune réservation a mon nom !!!!!! j'ai eu de la chance qu'il reste une chambre de libre !!!! Mais je ne sais qui est responsable de cette erreur booking ou l'hôtel ?

peisajul care se vede de la terasa restaurantului , personalul si anume probabil o angajata foarte placuta ca aspect si foarte ambila si doritoare furnizarea informatiilor , si probabil proprietarul , deasemenea foarte amabil si prietenos. Cald in camera, apa calda si cu presiune . ( ar fi fost ciudat ca in Elvetia secolului 21 sa nu fie asa, dar era posibil ca acestea sa fie furnizate cu economie). Restaurantul foarte rustic, potrivit cu statutul de cabana. Mocheta , cam imbacsita, si atentie pentru cine comanda camera "nord", acesta e chiar la nord si din acest motiv pare umeda si cu un miros ciudatt .

Les propriétaires du Grand Chalet ont été tres tres accueillants avec nous. Ils nous ont proposé du materiel de ski pour mon fils de 6 ans. Ils ont vraiment tout fait durant notre court séjour pour que l'on se sente a l'aise. La rénovation du restaurant au Grand Chalet a Leysin est vraiment magnifique. Quand nous retournerons a Leysin, c'est sur nous allons rester au Grand Chalet.
