Long walk to bedroom

A very luxury place with a wonderful view on Montreux - Vevey and Geneva's lake, an exceptional fruit buffet for breakfast, a very careful staff. Actually, there are not a lot to criticize, but...

...If you expect the swiss hospitality one can find in some 5 stars hotels of the neighbourhood, you're unfortunately at the wrong place: the management of the hotel gave me the displeasing impression to classify and serve customers depending on their apparent financial capacity. I'm really not sure it is an hotel for Booking.com customers. A few things are also unworthy of such a place: the breakfast coffee which obviously boiled many times before ending in our cups, the separation of men and women saunas (please if you want to satisfy all your customers, also provide a mixed one)...

Missing a water boiler in the room for a tea Missing a reading or a quite room where to stay when weather doesn't allow to stay outdoor (different than own room) A bit confusing about the many people not resident at hotel but having access to swimming pool, fitness and other recreation facilities of the hotel. This ends up with a bit too noisy situations with kids way under 16 year old using equipment unauthorized and without own parent surveillance

A bit disappointed with Le patio restaurant - quite expensive for the quality of food.

High level of comfort, amasing view (we had a room with lake view). Free parking. Welcome drinks (some juice and bottle of water), Nespresso coffee at the room. The hotel territory is rather small, but the surrounding landscape compensates it. Cute sculptures placed everywhere... We were warmly welcomed at the reception and the staff was very helpfull and attentive. Spa area is nice, big and clean. The breakfast was rather simple for such a level of hotel, maybe because there weren't that many guests (at least I had such an impression). The restaurant team was young and apparently not very experienced (being 6 people from the beginning, we were asked twice the room number, as soon as we stood up to grab some food, our table was cleaned away). But they were nice and just trying their best to be helpfull. No complaint, just a side comment:)

Location location location The room itself and the views.

1. Specifically requested a double bet when booking. On arrival into the room I was told its double bed but found out it was actually two single beds combined with two separarte duvets for me and wife. That was the biggest annoying factor right from the start. 2. There was no soap available in the bath room, We got one the next day 3. Simple little things such as change of batteries in a remote should not take 45 minutes. 4. We had the junior suite. The loungers in the terrace were covered in bird shit. The daily housekeeping should be cleaning that area as well. 5. There are lovely lamps on each floor for example ours had the round ones at the entrance of the elevator and conical ones in the corridor. The wires need to be hidden for those. It seems very low tier and unline a 5 start hotel when these little details are missed.

Le Mirador was beautiful and laid out high up on the hill with panoramic views of Lake Geneva and the mountains. We had junior suite with huge terrace which we enjoyed. The room was very clean and spacious, breakfast was wonderful and the pool, fitness and spa were all very nice. Highly recommended.

Nothing negative, but this is about 25 minutes up the mountain from Vevey so if you want to be in the middle of the city and walk to things, this may not as suitable.

Probably the nicest view over the lake. Very nice hotel. The terrace is great. Also the food and the service.

The restaurant looks old.

The view from our suite was one of the most beautiful view we have ever seen.

Spa facilities are not enough, there is no sauna and steam bath.

expensive wifi and no chocolate eggs during Easter week-end. Also the breakfast buffet is not 5 star standard.

Location is so great!! Staffs are kind. You may not be able to walk up to the hotel as it locates on the hill. You also need to walk around 10 minutes from Vevey station to Vevey Funi, which is the station of Goldenpass (taking bus may be more recommended even though it is around 3-4 stops away).

Фантастический вид на озеро, выше облаков, завтраки дорогие но очень вкусные, со свежими соками, всевозможными фруктами, закусками, с красной икрой и со свежей голубикой в марте месяце. прекрасный бассейн и спа. Каждый вечер приходила горничная с предложением расстелить кровать, очень непривычно:) Очень удобно и интересно для детей добираться до Веве на фуникулере+выдали карточки для бесплатного проезда на фуникулере и проезда по всей женевской ривьере.

две доп.кровати обошлись в 100 франков за ночь. по-моему, слишком дорого. В номере нет чайника, только кофеварка.

La vue magnifique ! Le personnel très agréable Très belle chambre

Ne pas avoir la suite junior retenue 10 jours plus tôt ! Et devoir la réclamer pour l'obtenir que le lendemain...sur un week-end...pas top !!! Nous avons diné au restaurant le patio, 1h d'attente pour chaque plat, nous avons du annuler le désert car c'était devenu insupportable et a 48€ l'entrecôte on s'attend a ce qu'elle soit excellente et bien non !! Le foie de veau sentait mauvais, j'ai du le renvoyer car il était cru. Bref, le patio fut une mauvaise idée !!!

Le calme,la vue,la possibilité de venir sans voiture (funiculaire) et de visiter Vevey et environs avec le pass transports. La chambre spacieuse (merci pour le surclassement) La piscine .

Petits détails car globalement excellent :les poignées de la douche et sanitaire ne sont pas ergonomiques et le matelas un peu trop ferme pour moi qui souffre du dos .Le prix du petit déjeuner et ses horaires en salle .
