Les Airelles Bed & Breakfast is a large, charming home built by a Russian princess over 100 years ago on top of a hill in Leysin, at almost 1,500 metres above sea level.

It offers unusually large rooms and huge balconies with breathtaking, unobstructed views of the Swiss and French Alps (including Les Dents-du-Midi and Mont Blanc).

The house features a fully equipped guest kitchen available to you 24 hours a day, as well as an outdoor barbecue and a dining room seating up to 30 guests.

Also, there is a separate children's room with PlayStation, table tennis (in summer), tabletop football, games and books.

The lounge and the veranda with its spectacular views offer style and comfort, and there are more than 150 DVDs to choose from.

You can store your skis or bikes in a dehumidified storage room.

Les Airelles Bed and Breakfast is a non-smoking establishment.

A free shuttle bus stops right in front of the house during high season.

A full continental breakfast buffet is served between 05:00 and 12:00. You can have breakfast in the dining room, on the veranda or in your room/on your balcony. Our coffee machine will serve you excellent coffee, and a large selection of teas and fruits is available free of charge 24 hours a day.

Room information

Some rooms are very large with big balconies and fabulous unobstructed views, while others are a bit smaller, have no balconies and overlook the garden. Some rooms are small and are ideal for children, students or budget travellers.

All rooms have a sink, a wardrobe and DVDs/Videos (150 films) are available on request.

Area information

Leysin is known for its many hours of sunshine due to its exposure (south/west) and is virtually a balcony overlooking the valley and the Swiss and French Alps. It is the closest resort to Montreux, Lake Geneva and Geneva. Leysin is only 20 minutes from the valley, yet our house is perched at 1,480 metres above sea level. The resort offers an almost unlimited number of sports and leisure activities in both summer and winter.

Travel information

By train:
- Get off at Leysin Feydey.
- Turn right downhill and walk 100 metres.
- The hotel is next to the Top Pub and features a red gate.

By car:
As it is a little bit tricky to reach Les Airelles, please set your mileometer to 0 when you reach the illuminated sign "Leysin, Oxygene des Alpes" sign and stay on the main road. You pass the following waypoints:
- BCV : 600 metres
- Classic Hotel: 700 metres
- Office du Tourisme: 1km
- Tamoil gas station: 1.1 km, make a sharp turn left
- TeleLeysin keep going straight
- Central Residence : 1700 metres
- Mini Golf: 2 km
- Les Airelles B&B (red gate) : 2300 metres!

Important information

Please note that there are stairs, which may make Les Airelles unsuitable for older or disabled guests.

Please also note, that this is a bed&breakfast guest house and not a hotel.

You will arrive in the basement so you can take off your shoes and store your skis/bikes before proceeding to the reception on the first floor.
