Hotel Les Arcades  

Great place to stay in Geneva! Very friendly and helpfull staff (the asian girls especially), the Wi-Fi was working allright, the breakfast was nice and kept you alll day, the room was clean and had nice view to the train station. The location was great, the train and buss station just oposite the hotel, the banks and old city is just 10 minutes walk. They told me that they can keep my things after the check out so that i can see more of the beautyfull city of Geneva and i did. Very good value for money overall (this is a cheap hotel in the expensive city of Geneva). I would surelly recomend this hotel.

the power suply in the room was old and couldn't charge my laptop. you could get and addaptor from the reception though giving a small money guaranty.

Good location, close to downtown and central railway station. Very good for short stay.

There were not enough sockets in the room. To charge laptop and mobile phone we had to unplug lamps

Very good location, near the train station and the centre of geneva. It is worth its money, since geneva is a very expensive city in all sections. Friendly staff. Generally we were satisfied, it is ideal for an economic and convenient stay for wandering to the beautiful but expensive geneva.

I think breakfast needs improvement.

Room was lovely although I was very gflad we had a room towards the back of the hotel as some are very close to Reception and the Breakfast area and I think this would have been annoying for noise levels. The staff were very helpful and happy to speak English when my GCSE French was exhausted!Location is 100% the best thing about this hotel-it is literally in the middle of everything and only 5 min walk to the Lake.

I did not dislike any part of our stay at this hotel but as stated above I would have been concerned at having a room near the Reception desk due to possible noise disturbance.

Large clean room with working free wifi.

I happened to carry the room key with me on one of the days and when returned to my room in the evening the receptionist called me only to tell that I should have not carried the key with me. I considered this action rather disturbing.

Reasonably priced in an otherwise very expensive city. Spacy room. Central location. Good sound isolation: not much noise from outside gets through, even in room on street- side. Good shutter / room darkening. Friendly, efficient personnel.

WiFi access poor: cuts out all the time (but had room farthest from reception, so may be better in other rooms).

The location was very near the station. The entrance was small and it may be difficult to find the hotel. The room was OK. I stayed at this hotel as one night transit. For this purpose, it is fine considering price and location.

Very close to the station, reasonably priced. And the quality of service was better than I thought.

Breakfast can be improved.

Although at first I was worried it may be one of those hotels you go for "a few hours stay hotel" it proved to be great and clean. The area is a bit dodgy but the hotel is not. I liked the fact that the room was clean and the service was good and the breakfast ok.

The staff are the hotel's main assets, they are so friendly/professional and helpful. The hotel is wondefully located and the rooms are clean, bright and comfortable. I would certainly return to this great little hotel.

They could vary the breakfast a bit and perhaps get new towels.
