Interior decoration Very close to the lake and to the shops Hotel fronting a nice and open space

Squeaky sound when walking in the room as the building is a bit old No built-in air-conditioning unit and the mobile air-co is a bit noisy

Location, proximity to old town, restaurants etc. Room had a nice view over Place Longemalle

Wifi was hopeless (poor and inconsistent connection). Noisy Place Longemalle made sleeping with the door/window open impossible.

    Location is good.

We asked for converter for our phone, normally other hotel will charge deposit then when we return, they give our dep back. This hotel no such thing, you have to buy them.

The location is fantastic, this hotel is right in the centre of Geneva and you could walk to most sights, tourist trains, the tram stop, or bus stop. The staff were helpful and pleasant and the breakfast was very good. There was a hairdryer, shower cap, soaps and toiletries in the room replaced daily. TV had an English option which was excellent. We enjoyed our stay here.

The room was a little scruffy need of a bit of maintenance. The shower was over a very narrow bath with taps on one side and a shower curtain on the other. This left very little room to move made showering very difficult.

    Good Location, Friendly Staff.

The room was a bit noisy in the morning, with the movement of people in the corridor being echoed inside the room.

Best location in town. Very quiet and comfortable. Efficient and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. I am a repeat guest and plan to go back.

Needs some renovation but they are planning for it very soon

Excellent location - short walk to the Jardin Anglais, Old Town and the shopping areas. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good - no hot options (except boiling an egg) but good traditional European selection.

Wifi was a bit dodgy in our corner suite. The A/C was of limited capability and was very noisy. We kept the windows open most of the time, but the noise from the street could be bothersome at times.

Good location and nice old world atmosphere

A bit old-fashioned, but I personally like that. They don't have their own parking, and you can wait in front of the hotel only for loading and unloading (though the parking lot under the lake is nearby)

The location is great for the old city or the shopping district, or for the opera theatre which was the reason for my stay. The room was comfortable and well appointed, and had a pleasant small balcony overlooking the square. It was mild enough (in May) that I could leave the balcony door open during the night and enjoy fresh air. Breakfast was modest but pleasant. All of the staff whom I had dealings with were helpful and friendly.

The only feature lacking was tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but I realise that complaint is flogging a dead horse in much of continental Europe.

It is a good central hotel. In any other city you would feel ripped off for what you get but in Geneva the rate and quality is very acceptable. The location is perfect and staff are helpful.

Absolutely central location. Very friendly staff, which could belong to a 5* hotel.

This is a max. 3 star hotel and you shouldn't expect anything more. It looks good from outside and in the lobby but in the rooms the furniture hasn't been renovated since the '70s (I don't exaggerate!), apart from the flat TV and a VERY old A/C which was very loud, its power cable lying in the middle of the room since there was no other power outlet; I had to shut off the A/C and open the windows because it was warm but then it was noisy from the street. The view of my backyard room was absolutely awful, at the front rooms is certainly ok. The breakfast is just basic. I've been in most 3* hotels of Geneva, the main advantage of this one is the location and this rises its price quite often to the level of a 5* one.
