It's very close to the business-oriented Zug but much more affordable, with its own garage which is very useful for people travelling by their own car. The hotel staff is nice, the breakfasts fine (well, they should replenish the delicious croissants more often, heh...). The only thing which is rather disturbing has nothing to do with the hotel but with the nearby bell tower: if your window is heading towards the square and you decide to sleep with an open window, you will not sleep at all: the bell sings every 15 minutes, not to mention the hourly singing which is really loud. Can't understand how the neighbours make it...

Location. Close to train station with good access to Zug, Zürich and Luzern. Cham is a nice little town with several restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance of the hotel. A pleasant, quite alternative to Zug.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Lorze. Both times because we were participating in the Expat Expo. From a convenience point of view you can't get any better or closer. We will definitely stay there again if we go to next Expat Expo. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Whilst the key system works it is a bit of a nuisance having to always remember to change keys before leaving the building. It is very easy to get locked out and if you don't remember the pin code to enter the building I really don't know what you would do as the receptionist is only present during certain hours.

Funktional, gepflegt und sehr sauber, ruhige Lage. Ideal für einige Tage als Ausgangsort für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis für ein Schweizer Hotel. Handtücher, die nicht abtrocknen.

Das Zimmer mit dem Wintergarten und das Frühstück mit Aussicht der Lorze entlang. Bei der Ankunft war niemand anwesend, nach zweimaligem Tel.Anruf kam dann die Receptionistin, welche sich dann aber in aller Form höflich entschulidgte, was ich gerne akzeptierte.

Locatie in dorp Cham. Parkeerfaciliteit. Eenvoudige en verouderde afwerking van kamers. Matig bed/matraskwaliteit. Door ligging enige overlast van nabijgelegen kerkklokken.

Die Lage ist wichtig, da mein Sohn mit Familie in der Nähe wohnt. Die Handtücher sind schrecklich, das Badetuch vor allem war zusätzlich feucht und ist auch zu klein. Außerdem wirken die Handtücher (vielleicht durch die merkwürdige Farbe) nicht einmal ganz sauber. Das sollten Sie unbedingt ändern.

viel zu heiss im zimmer, man kann keine fenster öffnen, es hat ein glas- erker wo man nur zwei ganz kleine fenster öffnen kann! es hatte ca. 30 grad, man konnte kaum schlafen! schade, da sonst alles sehr modern war!

Mitten in Cham gelegen, Bushaltestelle vor dem Haus und Bahnhof in 5 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Direkt an der Lorze und sehr nahe zum See. Grosszügiges Zimmer mit geräumiger Nasszelle. Das Fehlen einer Klimaanlage vielleicht? Andererseits wars während unseres Aufenthalts trotz Glas-Erker und heissem Wetter im Zimmer stets angenehm kühl.

Nach wie vor die gute Lage - mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sehr gut erreichbar, nahe an Zug und V.a nahe an See und Grünfläche, was nach einem Arbeitstag angenehme Erholung bedeutet.

Die Nähe sowohl zu Zug als auch zum See/Park. Weniger gefallen hat mir diesmal die Lage des Zimmers, nahe zur Strasse hin und damit relativ lärmig. Das hat aber dem Gesamteindruck nicht geschadet.
