Novotel Lugano-Paradiso  

I informed the hotel that I'm travelling with my 3 daughters when I checked in there were two kid beds and one baby coat.

No electric adaptors at the hotel

It was very chrildren friendly.....late check-out , small play room etc.

They wouldnt clean up the room or even knock on the door for towels if you are inside (once they pass they dont come back....)

Helpful staff, good location. Overall we had a very good stay, even though the country overall is quite pricy.

Breakfast was not included into the room fee, I had to ask to replace toiletries, costly parking, free wifi but no automatic connection which was rather annoying.

Room is big, new and clean.

Staff is just so so, not willing to provide more information, always recommend taxi which is very expensive if you ask any direction. Location is really far away from train station or city centre. When you check in, reception will charge your full room rate and extra 200chf per night as deposit, so lots of money been charged away from your card if you stay more than one night and won't be back for you to use until about a week after you check out which I thought is ridiculous

Bath.. only!

1. Shared building with ibis!! Even the Parking! 2. Ibis budget 89 SFR, Ibis 150 SFR, and Novetel 195 SFR after 30% discount!! 3. Wish I stayed in ibis.. not that much difference.. instead i might get a bigger room with ibis budget!.. 4. I waisted my money indeed. 5. 22 SFR for Parking is too much for sure..

Excellent personnel ... Reception, Night porter, breakfast staff.... Hotel, perfect, comfortable bed, room clean nice design and products for the bathroom. Good and copious breakfast.

Give time for booking in and out... With the number of clients, more desk staff were necessary, but they are excellent when dealing with you.

New hotel. A lot of plugs for phone, computer, etc.

A bit far from the station and center but cozy, clean, well cared. nothing special to complain.

Good location - though a lake view is only available from bedrooms on the top two floors. As a city location it works well however. Very helpful staff. The building and furnishings are brand new.

Parking is expensive and, considering what's on offer, the breakfast is even more so. The hotel has no restaurant. The wi-fi, though free, cuts off frequently and this necessitates endless logins.

- Hotel did not communicate with us, even though we booked two months ago and were surprised when we check in for request for the payment for a new room because the beds not enough. -Lack of safety , one of a hotel staff opend our room at three o'clock in the morning when we slept.

The rooms are well furnished and comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious and functional. I like the free of charge wi-fi in the rooms which is so convenient while on business. The location is good. The breakfast/restaurant area is pleasant and the service is very good and friendly.

Expensive Breakfast

The comfort in the bedrooms. The friendliness of the restaurant staff. The fitness center. The meal presentation and portions.

There seems to have been a discrepancy with my booking the way the issue was handled was less than professional - at one stage I was told that I had to pay a higher rate - I had to proof to them via the internet that I had a booking whilst they said that they had a cancellation and a booking for the next day. As the hotel was not fully occupied I would have expected them to accept the booking confirmation as I had shown them

Very clean rooms. Great, comfortbale beds. Good showers. Short walk to the Lake. Very nice check-in staff, easy bus connection to railway station.

Not anything too serious.The tv was fine but a few more free movie channels. It would have also been nice to have free wi-fi for more than 1 hour.
