Travel information

By car:
Visitors travelling by car from the north travel via Bern through the Lötschberg tunnel (car-train), from the east via the Furka Pass (or car-train) and from the south via the Simplon Pass. You can reach the Saas Valley from the west of Switzerland via Lausanne and through the Rhone Valley to Visp.

By train:
Visitors travelling by train travel to Brig or Visp and change to the post bus with the direct destination "Saas-Fee". There are hourly connections until 20:05 from Brig and 20:25 from Visp. Check your luggage at your local station and collect it at the bus station at the Saas Valley post offices.

You will find your train and bus connections on the electronic timetable of the Swiss Federal Railways.

By plane:
The closest airports are in Basle, Bern, Geneva, Zurich and Milan. There is also a smaller airport in Sion.

The village is car-free. Please call us from the free telephones when you arrive at the parking lot or at the tourist office. We will pick you up with the electrical hotel taxi.
