It offers free Wi-Fi and satellite TVs in all rooms, free parking and fine Swiss cuisine. The hotel's facilities include a restaurant and a sunny terrace. Once a week, Raclette dinners with live music entertainment can be enjoyed. Snowshoe trips and curling tournaments are organized during winter by the hotel owner. In summer, all cable cars including the Metro Alpin and all buses in the Saas Valley can be used free of charge. Various hiking path, cross-country skiing tracks and snow-shoe trails start right from the Mattmarkblick hotel. Great place! No unnecessary luxury, down to earth, efficient, clean and very friendly staff. We enjoyed every single moment in this Hotel. You look for a true Swiss experience: this is a place to go. Grossartig! Kein unnoetiger Luxus, mit den Fuessen am Boden, effizient, sauber und sehr freundliche und kompetente Chefs und Belegschaft. Wir haben jeden Moment im Hotel Mattmarkblick genossen. Fuer ein echtes schweizer Erlebnis; hier ist der richtige Ort. Fantastic! Pas de luxe inutile. Efficace, propre, et une equipe competente. On a tout aime, y compris les viandes grillees!

Outstandingly friendly hotel with a very high standard of food. Ambience within the hotel was excellent and a general feeling that everybody whilst in the restaurant was having a very good time. I would strongly recommend this hotel except for people looking for out and out luxury. Though not an issue that affected the stay, the single rooms are small and could be improved. The owner informed us these were being updated in the next two years

Herr und Frau Zurbriggen sind hervorragende Gästebetreuer. Herr Zurbriggen kennt das Wallis sehr gut und er ist daher ein guter Berater für Touren und Wanderungen in den Bergen. Die Bergbahnen und die Postautos im ganzen Saastal sind gratis (im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen). Gutes Essen und freundliches Personal machen den Aufenthalt im Hotel Mattmarkblick zu einem Erlebnis.

Der herzliche Empfang der Gastgeber hat mir besonders gefallen. Auch das Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Küche hat mich beeindruckt, das Essen war ausgezeichnet und das Angebot sehr umfangreich. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die sehr willkommenen Ausflugstips des Gastgebers. Er kennt die Region bestens und konnte mich bestens beraten.

Een heel aangenaam familie hotel, uitstekend eten en heel vriendelijk personeel. een al wat "ouder" publiek maar we hebben er heel goed van genoten.... We gaan zeker en vast nog eens terug....

Ambiance très agréable, dépaysement garanti. Le patron est au petit soin avec ses clients, toujours prêts à conseiller une rando ou une activité dans le coin. Les chambes sont bien aménagées, le resto très correct dans une ambiance typiquement Suisse, on a même eu droit à une corale de yodel! Le prix inclus une carte d'accès aux remontées mécaniques de tout le domaine en été.

Hôtel bien placé, calme, rapport qualité-prix excellent, salle de bain récente et équipée, chambres confortables. Les patrons sont très sympathiques et parlent bien le français. Nous avons apprécié la proximité avec Saas-Fee (moins de 10min en voiture). Les cars postaux pour Saas-Fee sont réguliers. Nous avons été très contents de notre séjour.

Die einfache, aber gemütliche Einrichtung. Der nette Empfang und die sehr nette Bedienung! Der Welcome-Drink wurde offeriert vom Chef, die Kaffeerunde inkl. "Seitenwagen" nach dem Nachtessen wurde offeriert vom Chef und die "Abschluss"-Kaffeerunde nach der Rückgabe der Bergbahnen-Karte wurde offeriert vom Chef!! Wo findet man das heute noch?? Was wir auch sehr schätzten, war die Karte, die wir erhielten, um die Bergbahnen GRATIS zu benützen! Schade, dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten, aber wir kommen sicher wieder!! Wir hätten am Abend gerne länger mit dem Chef des Hauses gesprochen, aber die Zeit reichte leider nicht, er musste zur Jodelprobe, was ja auch sehr in unserem Sinne ist. Wir haben sehr gerne volkstümliche Unterhaltung!
