Our family-run 3-star hotel appeals to guests who appreciate comfort and personal atmosphere. Again our hotel was decorated as a holiday and hiking hotel by Switzerland Tourism. Once a week we organize entertainment with live music, as well as Valais and Italian evenings. In winter, the hotel owner regularly undertakes snowshoeing trips and curling tournaments with our hotel guests. In summer he organizes hikes through the Saas Valley, barbecues and excursions to Zermatt and the Aletsch region.

Food & beverage

The hotel's restaurant is open from 07:00 to 01:00. A special evening with live music and raclette is held weekly. It also features a sunny terrace.

Breakfast is served from 07:30 to 10:00.

Our rooms were completely renovated during the last years and are fully equipped with phone, Sat TV, and radio.
Attika double room, these rooms are equipped with bath and are dressed up with local rustic wood. Double and triple rooms are furnished very much modern and comfortably. Single rooms are likewise renovated and furnished suitably.

Area information

The sunny Saas Valley, The Pearl of the Alps, is situated amidst the highest mountains in Switzerland. Guaranteed snow, a mild, southerly climate low in allergens, superb scenery and unspoilt villages help create an unforgettable holiday.

Mini golf, Tennis courts and a Ski school are all situated 100 metres from the hotel.

By public transportation:
- Switzerland can be reached by train or plane.
- The nearest airports are Zürich, Basel or Geneva.
- You can also fly to Malpensa, Italy, which is also nearby.
- From the airports take the train to Brig or Visp.
- Change to the Postbus which terminates at the station Saas-Fee.
- Change bus at Saas Grund in order to get to Saas Almagell.

By car:
- From the east approach via the Furka pass or use the Furka railway car ferry.
- From the south approach the Valais region via the Simplon or Grand-St-Bernard pass.
- From the west you reach us via Lausanne and along the Rhone valley to Visp.
- From the north drive via Berne to the railway car ferry at Kandersteg / Lötschberg.
