Mercure Bristol Leukerbad  

Friendly staff at reception.

This hotel has a four star ranking but said from their mediocre thermal baths has none of the comfort or trimmings of a genuine four star hotel. We booked massages which were cancelled due to illness. No effort was made to rebook us the following day. Having stayed in many accor hotels, the mercure did not meet their usual standards. The room was old, beds hard as rocks and dust/cobwebs had collected on the ceiling. There was a 15minute queue to checkout.

We stayed at Mercure Bristol at the very end of the ski-season from 2 till 8 april. The hotel is ok, but a little bit dated and needs some refreshment. Our room was generally ok, the bathroom clean and well- maintained. We liked thermal pools and sauna (during the mid-week). The hotel is situated very close to Torrent Bahn, however to reach it you should go all those stairs inside parking and above it of 50m height, it was terrible, we were fighting with it every single day. The breakfast is ok, but is could be better. The girls (waiters) at the breakfast were both smily and nice.

1) Bad smell in the room, like someone been smoking there for the whole century! 2) reception staff (except of one guy) spoke very bad english, so that they were almost unable to help us in case of queries and questions 3) breakfast is overpriced in respect to its quality (25 sw francs per person) and not included in the room price, which is unfair and looked like a trick 4) thermal pools were generally nice but the water temperature could be higher! Every day at 5pm approx they opened some tap for 30 minutes or less and we noticed hot water (much warmer than 34 degrees) coming from underwater tubes. But that wasn't enough! 5) the water temperature was not constant from day to day 6) note for all guests: in weekends and especially when it is combined with some kind of big holiday like Easter or Christmas the hotel and pools gets completely overcrowded! So say adieu to your relax! Due to this it was absolutely imposs to take a shower after thermal pools in the evening. Due to high demand "hot" water was about 20 degrees only and me and my got ill because of this! We complained and they offered to change the room instead of stop saving the energy during the high occupancy periods..

Spa, reasonably priced; located in a very beautiful place;

Breakfast is pretty poor; service is far from ideal; expensive wifi, in a situation when many hotels all over the world offer it for free, this hotel charges chf 5 for half an hour; chf 15 for 3 hours; looks like quite old hotel; although reasonably priced, still one has higher expectation of facilities and services for price you pay.

The room and that the spa is located inside of the hotel. I liked the two pools very much.

The area with chez-longs around pools was very cold. I really hated it. I do not understand why there is no heating under the floor in this area so that people could walk relaxed and not run to thei baph or sauna. Other defficiency, wh there is no tea offered in the area (even for maney).

The pool and thermal spas were lovely and the sauna were great, which made our stay worthwhile! The view from our sunny balcony was lovely too! Room was very spacious

The layout of the hotel was quite strange, you could easily get lost and it was difficult to get our luggage to our room. One receptionist was extremely rude to everyone. No free wifi, and very dated computer in lobby! Tired and dated decor throughout the hotel - very overpriced!

The pool, the sauna, the room was of type superior and thus the bathroom was bright and spacious.

The extra bed was not comfortable for our kid. Its mattress has to be consider for a change

Accueil chaleureux avec apéritif gentiment offert. Avons apprécié d'avoir le wifi gratuitement à disposition dans les chambres, ce qui n'était pas le cas lors de notre précédent séjour. Bravo! De plus, les bains sont très attractifs.

Ausgezeichnet um ein paar Tage in Leukerbad auszuspannen. Geeignet gelegen zum Skifahren, wunderschöner Bad- und Saunabereich. Zimmer sind etwas altmodisch, jedoch sehr Grosszügig. In den Bademantel geschlüpft gelangt man einfach in die Wellnesszone.

Das Frühstück ist nicht inbegriffen, aber wenn es einem zu teuer ist, hat es in der Nähe eine Bäckerei.

Natürlich der Wellness Bereich und die Schlafzimmer.

度过一个很美妙的一晚，酒店自带温泉，是室内和室外的设施也很齐全，不用去挤外面公共的温泉，很好。 房间很大，阳台直接可以看到雪山。 温泉一直到晚上9点，酒店里面穿着睡衣直接过去就行了。 停车费CHF8也很便宜。
