Mercure Stoller Zürich

We hadden gevraagd om een rustige kamer met 2 aparte bedden en die hebben we gekregen; da's prima. Kamer was netjes, goede bedden, goede verduisterende gordijnen.

Receptie personeel niet vriendelijk. Koffer moest eerst een aantal treden omhoog getild worden voordat je bij de liften komt; een helpende hand werd er zeker niet geboden. Bar dicht en restaurant ook na 17.00 uur dicht. Dat was vooraf niet gemeld en wel teleurstellend; je kiest het hotel ook vooraf uit obv de faciliteiten.

Netjes en goed verzorgd

Parkeren was minder. Voor de deur was er geen ruimte. Parkeergarage was een eindje lopen

The beds were comfortable and the shower was very clean. My room had a balcony and there was hardly any noise in the evening. Good location easy distance from the tram to the main station.

We found a special offer on the net, and it was very good value for money

- old, bed unconfortable - instead of one dobule bed we got 2 connected beds, staff was very loudly during tidying up so they have woken up us, hair dryer was very weak and old so drying my hair took me ages, mini bar was empty, the view from the window was for rubbish, all things in the room were old - I think they need a change, location was in the one of the worst districts in Zurich

The breakfast was really nice

Sometimes theres lack of coordination between the front desk staff. A person confirms a late checkout, when the shift changes the other person says I am not aware about it.

I liked the location of the hotel. It was comfortable, clean and quiet even though the hotel was full.

The hotel offered a ticket for a free beverage in the restaurant or the bar but they didnt have all the ingredients to prepare a cocktail which was on the menu!

Very friendly staff and very clean rooms. You can make the best hot chocolate in your room. The hotel is simply amazing with a perfect rate. The rooms are very comfortable and the neighborhood is fine.

The only problem was finding a parking place around the hotel.

Parking was difficult, would recommend booking space in advance. Breakfast was also expensive.

It didn't have air conditioning in the room and if you opened the window and the room was on the road side, was imposible to sleep or to make conversation because of the noise coming from outside. In my opinion, you can't classify a hotel to have 4 stars and to provide only a fan for the room. Our room had antic equipments such as the tv was an very old type and the minifrige didn't have a place specially for ice (so you coundn't have ice prepared). I've been told that I have internet in the room, but it wasn't working and nobody bothered to come to check why. The receptionist only said that it didn't happen before and that's it. Every other hotel in Switzerland offered ticket mobility to have free transport in the city but not this hotel.

The location is a pleasant one with a variety of food sources and the hotel was well run.

They charge for using their internet terminal.

Good value and well kept room. Very quiet and efficient. Although it was not in the exact center of town, the tram runs directly in front of the hotel and it is easy to get around.
