The good cost- service ratio.

I arrived at 9pm and the dinning room was closed and no room service

Good location, very clean and comfortable.

Restaurant was closed for Easter & we weren't informed when we made the booking.Train & bus station is noisy so you can't have the window open. No a/C. Staff were neither friendly nor unfriendly. Neither helpful nor unhelpful. There was nothing hot for breakfast but there was plenty to eat.

the bathroom is very narrow and the mattress should be changed as it is old and produces back pain.

The noise from 0400 every morning from clearing the snow it was impossible to sleep Also we booked your hotel as your website advertised a gym facility, we pointed this out to the reception staff

I have the pleasure of staying at the Metropol once a year and it is a splendid hotel. It's proximity to the train station is so convenient and it is also close to shopping and the Migro (large) grocery store where you can find anything! I like to eat at the wonderful restaurant where the food is delicious and they have a special menu for hotel guests that is so reasonable . The gentlemen who work in the restaurant during dinner have been there ever since I have been coming (10+ years) and they are so wonderful and helpful. The breakfast is also delicious and the ladies who serve in the morning are also lovely. As are all those who work at the front desk. They are attentive and helpful and quite attractive I must say. Since the hotel was not so full because of the New Year, they nicely upgraded me to a double room with fabulous views. I loved it! Whether I'm in my little cozy room or now this bigger room, I'm always happy at the Metropol. Thank you!

I had to pay for WiFi but that's about it! They do have a free computer downstairs though...

I don't like to pay for the interent but that's about it!

The hotel is opposite the train station, which makes it an ideal place for people traveling by train. The staff was very friendly and helped whenever we needed any assistance. The breakfast was of very good quality.

A lot of noise from the street ( trams, cars, etc). No aircondition in the room.

Strahlendes und außerordentlich freundliches Personal. Zudem viel Liebe zu Details. Es war ein wahrer Genuss Gast im Hotel Metropol zu sein. Bravo an das ganze Team und an die Direktion.

Freundlicher Empfang Einrichtung mit gutem Geschmack Junges + unkompliziertes Team ... konnten das Gepäck vor der Abreise in einem Raum deponieren... Einfach SUUUPER!

Unser Doppelzimmer war sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet und mit Liebe hergerichtet. Ebenso war auch die Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Obwohl das Metropol wirklich an einen echten Verkehrsknotenpunkte (Eisenbahnhof und Busbahnhof) war es bei geschlossenem Fenster angenehm ruhig. Allerdings wäre es uns nicht möglich gewesen bei geöffnetem Fenster zu schlafen. Dafür sind die Geräusche von der Bahn und der Strasse dann einfach zu laut.

Obwohl das Hotel sehr neu und modern eingerichtet wirkte, lag in unserem Zimmer ein muffiger Duft nach ausdünstenden Kunststoffen. Wir vermuten, dass dies vom Plastik-Laminat kam. Ein Holzboden wäre hier sicher die bessere Alternative gewesen. Wir haben für unser Doppelzimmer CHF 270 inkl. Frühstück gezahlt. Wir finden, dass dies überteuert ist. Ein Preis von CHF 160 bis 200 wäre wohl angemessener gewesen.

Der einzige zu bemängelnde Punkt ist der Service beim Frühstück; 45min vor dem Ende räumte die Person das Buffet auf, vor uns!
