Fairmont Le Montreux Palace  

Quarto espetacular com vista para o lago e montanha. Spa espetacular, simplesmente Fantástico hotel. Um verdadeiro luxo.

Good service, good spa, nice food

This is a very comfortable hotel with excellent service. No place is perfect, so the priority for me is when there is a problem, we appreciate a prompt and helpful response. We had a problem with the temperature in our room and were quickly moved to another, larger, more comfortable room that had no heating issues. When we went to check out, we were told there was no charge for the room because of the need for a move. We also liked the hot tub/pool/spa area, which was very nice.

Clean and fairly spacy renovated room. Good quality and modern decoration Space everywhere and quiet. Beautifull building. Proximity with all night life spots Good ambiance in Harry's Bar. Definitely a good adress for a break.

Beds could be softer

Fairmont Palace is a lovely and distinquished hotel. Our room was very large, bed wasvery comfy, the view from our room was gorgeous...lake and mountains. The welcome was fantastic. We celebrated our 50th anniversary there and they had a beautiful cake with fresh raspberries in our room for us. Water and fresh fruit in our room was provided daily. We walked from the train station which was close and very convenient. Terrific staff. Restaurant was excellent. Made the last days of our vacation just great. We like Fairmont Hotels and we will return to the Fairmont Palace.

It has been renovated to a very high standard which makes you feel very much at home. The coffee machines in the room were a nice touch, along with a bottle of mineral water every night. The room itself was loverly with a great view of the lake and mountains, very well appointed with a great bathroom.

I did not find the staff as attentive as they should be for a 5 * hotel, although they were very polite they seemed to miss that extra touch. Also I had paid for breakfast but on 2 days I had a early start and there was no way to receive breakfast before 6.30am without paying extra for room service.

Breakfast good food and siervice though expensive considering the high cost of room rate

Souless upon arrival dull no atmosphere at all bar although empty was attended by a sole disinterested staff member.

We had an excellent time at Fairmont Le Montreux Palace! No weak points, really. Amazing view on Lake Geneva and mountains from room's terrace, friendly stuff, quality spa, spacious interior swimming pool. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and would like to come back.

the beds needs to be replaced, you start the morning with back pain which is absolutely unacceptable

I was very unhappy with our room at the Fairmont Montreux Palace. There were several problems. First, the light in the closet would not turn off at night. I had to stuff a towel between the closet door and the button for the light switch to turn it off. Second, there was a bottle of Johnny Walker Black in the bar that had condensation inside it and a stain on the front. Third, there was no bedside lamp on the left hand side of the bed. These were problems that I would find annoying in a three star hotel. However, to encounter such problems in a five star hotel is just inexcusable. I am going to be staying at the Fairmont St Andrews in September and I sincerely hope that stay will be better.
