Motel de la Gruyère Restoroute

Restaurant and breakfast were nice. Views of the lake and surrounding mountains were spectacular.

Highway construction blocked access for southbound travelers. Spent over an hour trying to figure out how to get to the hotel.

We took a room at -1 floor. No elevator, so had to carry our luggage. The 3rd bed was just a z bed. It is ok if you are up to 1.60 m.

Great hotel, although you must be travelling by car! The hotel is also pretty far from the Gruyère castle, from Broc or any other village round the area. Good shop and restaurant just downstairs the rooms section. Astonishing view of the lake Gruyère.

I missed a lift on the rooms section.

the double bed was to single pushed together and the mattress’s pushed a part. They should be zipped together. And the romantic hearts weren’t on the bed as in the photos on the booking site

Very very tolerant staff. We arrived at 6 am!! And were allowed to check in....6 Hours before the official Check-In Time. Catarina was extremely polite and professional at the reception. It's close to a Motorway, but you don't really hear the cars at all....so ignore it if others complain about this.....it is hardly noticable.

Sadly the Fridge in the room takes aaaaaaaages. Is that really worth mentioning???? It's a mini manko.

Affordable and a good location for Gruyere and even Montreax, if you're driving. The hotel is part of a travellers complex with a cafe, gift shop, restaurant, and travelers rest stop, right next to the main autoroute. Despite being close to the highway, road noise in the rooms on the bottom floor was not too bad, as the walls are concrete. The rooms have views out over the lake.

With the windows open, there was some highway noise. The rooms were functional but not beautiful.

The setting is spectacular. The rooms are comfortable and have everything and are quiet considering they are just off of the autobahn. It is just 30 minutes outside of Bern. It is also near the town of Gruyere which is adorable. A great place to stay when on a trip through Switzerland.

An ideal hotel if you drive as the price is reasonable compared with the hotels in Vevey and Montreux. The hotel is off the expressway but it is located within a quiet and green environment facing a beautiful lake. Thanks.

Directions are not clear in the webpage, but otherwise everything perfect.

Great view of Swiss country side and small towns and churches from balcony, very secure system, very quiet, solid building. Spacious and comfortable. Some unique attractions such as the cow sculptures.

Our iPad gps map sent us to the town of Gruyere even though the picture of the hotel and area. There was nothing in walking distance other than the very expensive shops and restaurant on the site and the she gas station and store near by. Door lock can be tricky until mastered.

高速道路沿いにあり、アクセスが良い。部屋から湖が見え、眺望が良い。AUTOGRILLやコンビニと同じ- 場所にあるので、食事も困らない。

Es un bonito y acogedor hotel abuhardillado y decorado en madera en frente de un lago.

L'accueil à la réception est très chaleureux. Les chambres offrent une belle vue sur le lac de Gruyère et les Préalpes fribourgeoises. Bien que le Motel soit sur une aire de repos d'une autoroute, on n'entend pas trop le bruit des voitures.

Les chambres sont un peu mal isolées et on entend un peu le bruit dans les escaliers.

Gutes Motel direkt an der Autobahn und trotzdem ruhig. Schöne Aussicht. Angenehme Zimmer.

Nicht allzu kompetentes Personal

Удобный подъезд к мотелю. В номерах есть все для хорошего отдыха после длительных переездов - чистая постель, горяча вода, тишина. Полная независимость. Красивый вид. Рекомендую только для одного ночлега. И дальше в путь.

Близко к озеру, но к нему не подойти - можно только подъехать на машине. Инфраструктура - не развитая. Только сувенирный и продуктовый магазин. Нечего делать, негде гулять. Скорей в путь!

Zwischen 02.00 und 04.00 waren schwere Baumaschinen in Betrieb auf der Autobahn. Die Fenster klierten, und der Lärm war enorm. Eine etwas schlaflose Nacht! Personal konnte lediglich mitteilen dass Sie über solche Aktionen des Bau-dept. nicht informiert werden!

La chambre avec balcon donnant sur le lac, le calme malgré la proximité de l' autoroute. Le personnel à l' accueil et au restaurant est très sympatique.

Si l'on ne vient pas par l'autoroute l'accès n'est pas indiqué, en arrivant au village d' Avry . Le restaurant est un peu cher.

Chambre chaleureuse et petit déjeuner copieux. Propre à tous niveaux.

bruyant. On entend tout dans les couloirs. Les lits sont peu confortables.

Molto funzionale allo scopo (rapidità nel raggiungere Friburgo), silenziosità, nonostante la vicinanza dell'autostrada e camere adeguate.
