El Mövenpick Hotel Lausanne gaudeix d'una ubicació excel·lent a la vora del llac Léman, envoltat pels Alps. Ofereix cuina selecta i algunes de les habitacions tenen una vista elegant sobre el llac. Totes les habitacions són per a no fumadors i disposen de telèfon de línia directa i privada, contestador automàtic, internet per cable i sense fil, instal·lacions per preparar te i molts altres serveis. L'establiment inclou 3 restaurants, Le Jardin, La Brasserie i La Pêcherie, que ofereixen una oferta culinària molt variada. Le Jardin serveix un bufet d'esmorzar abundant al matí. Durant el dia, s'hi serveixen especialitats locals i internacionals. El restaurant també disposa d'un racó infantil i una terrassa amb vista sobre el llac, que és un bon lloc per gaudir dels famosos gelats del Mövenpick. La Brasserie ofereix un ambient elegant per dinar o sopar. Serveix tant plats tradicionals a la graella com plats internacionals i té una selecció extensa de vins. La Pêcherie és un restaurant de cuina selecta i un dels llocs gastronòmics favorits dels gurmets de Lausana. Ofereix un ambient mediterrani on el xef prepara peix fresc, de mar o d'aigua dolça, amb receptes fetes a base d'oli d'oliva i espècies seleccionades.

The location is excellent. Breakfast is also very good. I got the wrong room on check-in and my room wasn't cleaned on the first day until I had to request it.

Oh it's a great hotel in my opinion! We arrived past midnight (I had already emailed the reception about this anyway), and I can tell you that I've never found such smily and helpful frontdesk staff at that time of the night. Such a warm welcome! The hotel is World first class in every possible way (rooms, general facilities, gym, food quality). There is even a room by the front desk with iPads for customers to check their internet for free. There's also a computer for use by customers with a printer where you can print any documents at any time, this is so so convenient when you travel for work. And the location by the lake is beautiful and only like 50m from the metro station. We booked a lake view room, so maybe if you don't book that type of room the view might not be so splendid. Next time I will be in Lausanne I will definitely stay at Movenpick again. Nothing. All was perfection.

This hotel is just great! Swiss Hospitality is impressive as well the hotel cleanness and comfort. Located just in front of the lake with superb views, 500m away from the Olympic Museum and 1 minute away from the metro station, the hotel was one of my best choices during my last trip to europe. The staff is amazingly helpful and always willing to help you and make you comfortable. The price is a bit high for this hotel range, but I guess this is the Swiss standard. You pay for what you get it. After staying there you will not regret the extra money you've put in.

Location was very convenient. We were upgraded to a suite which was magnificent. Breakfast is good, rooms are comfortable, excellent view of he lake. I was charged for extra bed and wifi. I knew beforehand that these were not free,

We traveled with our 9 months baby and there was nothing wrong with the hotel. Baby cot provided by the hotel was the same we use at home and very useful. The toy duct put on the baby pillow was a nice gesture: thanks to whoever put it there :) Clean, safe, good services, nice staff... Quickest check-in/out we have ever seen. Internet: pricy, slow and the software interface probably not working properly...

Very friendly and professional interaction with hotel reception. Were expecting and were asking for a lake sided room. Latter was refused because the fair would not allow. Then there was heavy noise because of construction work in the hotel. Latter was not announced.

The request for a extra bed was processed without any reconfirmation at hotel. There was no pre notification about the down of water supply during midnight. I was washing my face and suddenly water stopped... They should know there was outage, but said they didnt know that...

Very good facilities, especially the fitness center, clean, very polite and efficient staff and superb location. Our so called garden room looked out to a terrace, which is nothing other than a building site at present. There were no problems with noise, however the hotel would have to do some serious work to be able to justify the term "garden view" they use.

Location, easy to get to town n other main city transport. Unfortunately the hotel is going through extensive building extension on the north wing so noisy with building work. The business centre is non existence ( very poor) . The gym has no air condition, no ventilation ( at 34 degree it's like an oven). Hotel restaurant food is very expensive n food is not good. Room is fair size for a standard room but bad lighting so it's difficult for reading My booking was supposed to be garden view. After 2 hrs wait for the room to be cleaned I discovered that Im actually looking out onto a roofing with loads of building materials n builders.

The staff were very helpful. We paid extra for a lake view which was lovely. Really nice bathroom, A bit overpriced for what it is. No free wifi for such an expensive hotel!! No Movenpick icecream on offer :(
