Since 125 years Hotel Münsterhof in the centre of Müstair offers you Alpine-style rooms with period furniture, fine regional cuisine and free Wi-Fi amid a typical Grison-style building. The UNESCO-protected Abbey of St. John is just 100 metres away. All rooms are unique and come with different features like a painted ceiling, a large bed and an antique chest of drawers more than 100 years old. Typical Grisons specialities like Put, "Capuns", Polenta, home-made sausage and bread can be enjoyed in the restaurant of Münsterhof. Dieses Hotel hat sich für mich als ein wahres Highlight in dieser Kategorie gezeigt. Das Hotel ist sehr stimmig eingerichtet entsprechend dem Stil der Region mit einer gelungenen Kombination von traditionellen Holzeinrichtungen und Moderne. Dies setzt sich in den Zimmern konsequent fort. Wir hatten Zimmer unterschiedlicher Grösse, von ca. 18-60m2, mit oder ohne Balkon, aber auch die kleinen Zimmer wirkten nicht eng. Die Betten sind ausgezeichnet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist aber der sehr freundliche zuvorkommende Service. Hier fühlt man sich willkommen. Wenn wir wieder einmal in der Region übernachten, wird der Münsterhof sicher wieder unsere erste Wahl sein.

Vor allem die Lage, nur ein paar Schritte vom Kloster entfernt. Die Zimmer sind mir originalen Holzmöbeln ausgestattet, das ist schon ziemlich originell. Es gab in meinem Einzelzimmer kein wirkliches Bad, sondern nur eine kleine Dusche/WC-Kombination - das Waschbecken war im Zimmer. Das war aber kein wirkliches Problem, ansonsten sind die Zimmer sehr schön. Das Frühstück könnte vielleicht eine Spur umfangreicher sein.
