We were upgraded on the room, so the view of the lake from the balcony was stunning, as was the furnishing of the suite. The proprietors were exceptionally helpful. |

The location of the hotel situated by Lake Murtens is quite nice. I would have rated the hotel as 2 or 2 and half * instead of the 3*. The hotel does not have AC, at night the mosquitoes swarmed into the room if we open the windows and the room gets stuffy and hot if we close the windows. The screen still allowed the mosquitoes to get into the room. The towels were thin, worn out, cover was haevy, a weird smell in the room and decor is spartan for a 3* hotel |

Hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel was a bit expensive. Next time I might by pass the town of Murten and stay in Avenches. |

Personnel of this hotel hardly speak English. I stayed in this hotel 1 night (12th of May), the day I left I figured out that I left smth in the room. I called to hotel and asked them to send it to Zurich by 17 of May. When I was leaving Switzerland (Zurich) on 18th I still didn't get any package from Hotel Murtenhof & Krone. It looked like they completely forgot about sending this package to me. |

Hotel położony jest w zabytkowym zamku w centrum starego miasta Murten. Wspaniały widok na jezioro. Ręczniki powinny być lepszej jakości. |

inklusive des upgrades in eine der senior suiten - war der aufenthalt im hotel murtenhof das pure vergnügen...
...kein rührei zum frühstück. das war's aber dann auch auf der mängelliste. |

Vor allem die Freundlichkeit an der Reception. Vielsprachig geht das Personal auf die Kundenwünsche und Fragen ein. Der Nachtessenservice im schönen Saal (seeseitig). Es bedienen zu viele verschiedene Kellner und Kellnerinnen die Tische. Diese haben dann die Uebersicht nicht mehr, jemand nimmt die Bestellung auf, jemand anderer bringt den Wein und öffnet ihn nicht. So steht der Wein da, bis das Essen serviert wird. |

Das ruhige Zimmer mit Seesicht, das Frühstück im Glashaus Ich bin 188cm gross und beim Verlassen des Zimmers habe ich beim ersten Treppenabsatz 2 mal mit dem Kopf die Decke gestreift. Grössere Personen könnten an dieser Stelle den Kopf anschlagen. |
