La cortesia del receptionist che si è sforzato, con buoni risultati, di parlare italiano; la bellezza dell'hotel, storico, e della camera, arredata con eleganza, nonchè la sua posizione, accanto al castello. Le camere con vista lago immagino siano superbe. Il menù degustazione che offre per 88 franchi: un primo, due secondi (pesce e carne), I desserts e due bottiglie di vino (bianco e rosso, peccato non svizzere), di ottima qualità e presentazione, con I difettucci tipici della cucina svizzera classica, cui son abituato e che hanno risvegliato ricordi infantili, che ho facilmente aggirato.

Mia moglie non ha gradito troppo la cucina, seppur di classe, tipicamente svizzera negli accostamenti dei cibi, pur in presenza di prodotti di assoluta qualità.

If you need to stay in Murten, this is an excellent choice because of the location.

This is an update to my previous review to change it from rather negative to positive. The item initially was mailed not as a package, but as a regular mail in an ordinary envelope. The envelope broke and that delayed delivery beyond the point I left the country. I have to say that the management went out of their way to remedy the situation and eventually shipped the item to my home country.

El trato en la recepción, nos cobraron la estancia por adelantado y no hablaban otro idioma que el alemán.

Die MitarbeiterInnen waren kompetent, hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich, besonders an der Rezeption und im Service. Der neu renovierte Speisesaal/Frühstücksraum ist ganz toll mit Blick auf den Murtensee, hell und modern. Insgesamt das Hotel romantisch, wenn auch z.T. bereits überaltert und nicht mehr zeitgemäß eingerichtet.

Unser Zimmer war doch etwas alt eingerichtet mit einem veralteten, sehr kleinen Badezimmer, wo Einiges bereits kaputt war und keineswegs zeitgemäß im Stil. Die Etagen-Gänge haben hässliche Bodenbelege, sind farblos und geschmacklos eingerichtet.

Der freundliche Empfang an der Rezeption, die zentrale Lage, die Aussicht auf den See vom Frühstückszimmer aus und das Frühstück selbst.

Ein sehr netter und höflicher Empfang, sehr aufmerksam auch auf spezielle Wünsche des Gastes. Weil wir nur eine Übernachtung hatten, kann ich nicht viel mehr berichten.

Das Standartzimmer ist, was Sauberkeit anbelangt etwas nachholbedürftig. Ein Blick auch über die Augenhähe wäre wünschenswert. Die Betten und der Teppich waren aber sauber.
