i liked how the hotel is near everything I was given a room that was incredibly small - actually the smallest room in the hotel, which was little or no value for money and very dissatisfied. |

I like the location near the center of Lausanne and the metro to the lake. The elevator starts only after a few stairs. |

Everyone was very nice and helpful. We were upgraded to a small suite that was really terrific. Beds were very comfortable and room was good sized and always clean. We did not have breakfast included but did go down one morning. It was not worth the 25 euros they were charging. There was only one staff person who was very slow and didn't refill the small dishes of food very often. We had to wait too long for food to come out. They did not serve espresso so we had to the corner coffee bar. |

I would not stay here again. When booking, I needed to confirm a room with 2 beds and felt that the front desk staff tried to pull a scam for me to secure this room. According to the representathive, I needed to book an "executive" room as those are the only rooms with 2 beds. What a disappointment! The 2 beds were pushed together to make a king bed and the room was so tiny, you can barely walk around the bed. There were no closets so they compensate this by rolling in a clothing rack, which just gets in the way. Plus, the airconditioning did not work and there was a heat wave so it was very uncomforrtable. I stay at many hotels and this one certainly does not deserve a 4-star rating. |

The metro was next to it. Negatives points: 1- There is no disability access so I had to carry my bags through the stairs, and carry may daughter stroller every day in and out through the main gate. 2- The A/c wasn't working the first night. 3- The room service was very bad: they don't change the sheet of the bed even though it was dirty. 4- The design of the room and the furniture was used is very old. 5- I found some insects and dirts in the room. Overall, the quality of the room and the hotel doesn't deserve 4 stars. I would give it 2 stars. I don't recommend it at all. Pay a little extra and stay at MOVINPICK , it's perfect. |

Very good location next to the metro station, in walking distance to railway station. Quiet location. Clean rooms. I specifically booked twin rooms (not doubles). I called Hotel.com and also the Hotel reception, who confirmed twin rooms. There were only rooms with a double bed and one quilt available, which was annoying for a group. The small breakfast for CHF 9 was not available that morning. |

2 people of our company stayed at your hotel last week, Mr. Sternecker + Mr. Gram. We don’t understand, why they had to pay the breakfast, although they didn’t take it. . I reserved breakfast when I reserved the room on the homepage, but just to make sure, that they have chance to get it, if they want. |

The room was pretty and elegant, and the bathroom was very clean and beautifully appointed. I didn't think it was really worth the money; it seemed to me that it had been really nice a year or two ago, but that they had begun to cut corners. One of the light bulbs was burnt out, one of the bedside light switches didn't work, and the "free minibar" contained exactly two bottles of water which were not replenished during our stay. It was still a very nice hotel, no question, but the price was too high for what we got. |

The cushions were to spongy - a bit like foam rubber. A rushing sound in the radiator could not be silenced completely. The breakfast was pretty basic for 25 Francs - so I I just had a bar beakfast for 9. |

Conveniently located next to the Metro stop. The room is elegantly decorated, which compensates for its relatively small size. Clean and pleasant. |

Decent hotel with very helpful staff and clean room. Right next to metro station, very good connections to the rest of the city. Wireless internet did not work for me despite efforts from hotel staff, this probably wasn't their fault. |

Great location, very close to - very quiet - metro station. Staff very pleasant. Room comfortable, with everything needed. Although the hotel did not have its own restaurant, there were restaurants nearby. |

Great looking hotel, great location between the lake and the train station, nice staff. Bed was a bit too hard, coffee was luke-warm, no iron in room. |
