This is not the hotel's fault, but be warned that it is within the "Red Light District" and the location may not really be suitable for small children. The hotel itself is nice and classy. |

It is located in the center of Geneva, in a red light district, but very safe, as most of the places in Switzerland. The free bus and train card provided at the check in counter is a big plus as transportation fees within the city can be expensive. The rooms are too small. |

Proximity to the Cornevin station. No lights (apart those of the bed) in the bedroom. Very small room. |

I liked its location - walkable form the railway station. and nice decor. It's in quite a seedy area - on a street with dodgy-looking characters (but non-threatening - didn't feel dangerous, just a bit sleazy). No eveving food available in the hotel. Wireless internet access is costly |

This is my preferred hotel for business trips to Geneva. It is convenient to transport, restaurants, and shopping. On the edge of the "Red-light" district. |

The service wasn't so good, the heating was on too high and the bed wasn't very comfortable. I'm sure this was a very nice hotel about 10 years ago |

good location, correctness of stuff, good breakfest, nice reception, comfotable room There was no electricity adapter in the reception, as in every other hotel. I had to by for 12 (!) franks for using it only one evening |

Value for money, the rooms and breakfast, even the service The wifi charges being charged separate from the main bill, it is a hustle to pay for for wifi after an hour or so and not for it to be better to just include the cost in the main bill. |

The price of the room included a transit pass for the duration of our stay. The staff was friendly, and the rooms (aside from the carpets--see below) were clean. Access was 24 hours. Skip the breakfast, it is definitely not worth what they charge. A better breakfast can easily be had for cheaper in the area. Although the hotel is rated at 4 stars I don't know how they keep them. There were noticeable deficiencies for which they should be stripped of at least 1 star (carpets dirty and frayed, no tissues in the bathroom tissue box, shower hose broken, chipped and broken wooden facing in the bathroom, defective TV screen). Finally, avoid using the tea bag in the room, it will cost you 6 francs! |

Excellent location close to train station and city. Helpful staff and comfortable rooms. The rooms were very small, not very comfortable if staying for several days. |

Central location, friendly staff, clean place, comfortable bed. The room was very hot and air conditioning was very noisy. Street noise was quite loud. The red light district is very obvious but not intrusive, this would not put me off at all, but it might others. |

very convenient location, good price for a geneva hotel! In the red light district, so can be a bit noisy at night and some seedy characters around, though you don't feel threatened (I might have felt differently though if I was a single female traveller) |

The design is just as advertised, clean state of art design with a warm tone. The hotel is in the legalized red light district. Told as safe to walk 3 blocks to train at 6:30 AM, I felt it necessary to hire an airport bound cab for $35 - it would be nice to know in advance. Pimps stood on the street all night until daybreak both nights. Also, the breakfast attendant said I must pay extra if having breakfast w/o a reservation - never was told I needed one! I went to The Warwick - very excellent, but costly here. |

The unique combination of heritage and innovation distinguishes the Royal Manotel from other hotels in Geneva. It can be found right in the city centre, between Lake Geneva and the UN. |
The completely renovated Hotel Cornavin enjoys an ideal and quiet location in the very heart of Geneva, just 1 minute from the train station and 5 minutes from the international organisations. |
The Montbrillant hotel is situated in the centre of Geneva, at the Cornavin main train station, offering direct access to public transport and good connections to the airport and the central business... |
Approximately 80 metres away from Geneva's main train station Cornavin, which is also the terminus for the airport train, this charming hotel welcomes you in its cosy traditional atmosphere. |
