The "non'smoking" room I stayed in, someone had smoked in the night before. Room was not aired out well and the night's sleep was not pleasant. Having stayed here several times before, I mentioned this to the hotel front desk and all I got was an apology! |

Room furniture; cleanliness; very assertive staff TV programs: only satellite, preference to Arabic, no French channels, no CNN or similar; Breakfast: restricted choice, no vegetables; Window isolation: may be improved; Lighting in the bathroom: insufficient |

Location was handy Very misleading description. Nothing like a 4* hotel. No bar, no facilities to speak off. I would rate the hotel as 2*. |

The staff were very helpful and friendly. I thought the room was very small and cramped. The shower was awkward because of the placement of the taps, and we didn't have sufficient towels in our room. The room itself had a bad odor in it that we couldn't get rid of. No view, and I thought it was quite pricey for what we got. The TV only had two functioning channels. Not very satisfied with the hotel. |

The breakfast service was quick even if the choice was a bit basic. Use of stairs rather than the lift was easy. (I hate hotels where you are forced to use the lift except in an emergency.) Location is ideal for business meetings. The lights in the bedroom were the darkest I have experienced and I had to remove a lamp shade to read. Apart from the expected French and German language programmes on the television, about half the programmes were of arabic origin (I identified at least one Tunisian and one Moroccan station) but no programmes in English language. |

It's in the middle of the Sex District of Geneva and the hotel literally hasn't been touched for 30 years apart from new lifts. It would be great as a setting for a 1970's porn movie. The rooms were clean, yet so dated. There was not even an english speaking news channel like Sky, or CNN to keep you sane and to stop the noise from the streets below. Foul place |

The hotel is close to the railway station and to the lake. The room was comfortable. The bed is relatively short, but this seems to apply to all hotels in Geneva. The hotel can not be recommended for families because it is amidst the demimonde. |

The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is small in size. The air conditioner is placed too close to the bed, thus it is annoying when you turn it on. |

The neighbourhood of the hotel is very bad. The streets were noisy throughout the night which disturbed our sleep. We were also robbed just putside the hotel when we descended from a taxi. |

It was within easy walking distance of the lake and main sights in Geneva, as well as near some restaurants offering excelent food for a good price. The room was small, dirty and loud, some staff were quite unhelpful and there were prostitutes hanging around outside the hotel throughout the day. |

the reception staff were excellent, especially the person who telephoned me in advance to check that the rather complicated family booking would work smoothly unfortunately, the coffe sachets ,and soap weren't renewed each day |
