Score from 938 reviews Very good
The location is good with near attractions, restaurants & shopping. Experience of staying was good accept street is too…… noisy at night.
The hotel location is very close to train station. Large room size and clean..
The lift only up to 4th floor. To get the 5th floor you have to use stairs
Staff were friendly
No free wifi Street noise very loud Hotel surroundings quite seedy. (Red light district)
No free WiFi, only overpriced service available in lobby.
The bed only
The TV The AC The cleaning kit in the Toilet like tooth brush and shampoo
It is terribly noisy, you can hear people fighting and yelling every night. It is in a 'red light district'
Everything. Specially the very rude staff at the front desk. He was shouting and insulting, I felt like if I was staying at his expenses.
Despite that the location is in the heart of the red light district but it is full of restaurants and anywhere in Geneva is of an easy reach.
Rooms are very small and the staff are not friendly at all.
nathing in hotel no frig werkres in reception is very rod spacialy at night they let you hait all Geneva you can't sleep
Staffs were very bad
BEDS ARE COMFORTABLE, CLEAN, THERE IS A BATH, STAFF ARE GOOD.
CAN BE VERY NOISY ALL NIGHT FROM THE ROAD OUTSIDE. ROOMS ARE STUFFY AND YOU CANNOT OPEN THE WINDOWS AS IT TOO NOISY OUTSIDE. AIR CON IS TOO NOISY TO SLEEP THROUGH.
Good place to stay
No free wifi
Red light area
The location, too much noise, no free WiFi and plumb issues
The hotel didnot have the room as we booked but they upgraded the room for us without additional charge.
Staffs seem to be not friendly at all.
Conveniently located for the train station
In the middle of the red light district was very very off putting for a single female staying at the hotel. I was on the top floor and you could hear all night, the partying or the fights or the guys picking up the prostitutes which were clustered around the hotel. One Saturday morning at 7.30am a fight got so bad, police and ambulances were called!
Close to station and transport links
Just about everything else. Rooms are basic; no fridge/bar, just a bed - our bedroom lacked a bath plug. You had to pay for wifi. What kind of 4* is that? Also, tarts on every corner morning noon and night (and not necessarily nice ones either...). It is cheap though. Just not for families...
Very loud street
The reception hardly spoke English. There was no free wifi for the astronomically expensive price of one night. Geneva is not a great location for modest income travellers.
-location within central area -proximity to bus/train station -varied catering outlets -friendly staff
-too much noise at night
It was like home from home! Owner was a super lovely lady! The attention to detail that she has makes such a difference! Book with confident - I'll definitely be back...!! x
Very important point here... What didn't I like...? That nobody told me before I booked that one night was never going to be long enough!! Next time I'm booking for the week & enjoy the facilities properly!!!! x
Good location for an early exit to the station
Located in the red light district. Very noisy outside all night. No kettle in my room
No access to the last to floors through the elevator is understandable though not stated in the description of the hotel, but the absence of the porter and no help with the luggage to these 'elevator-inaccessible-floors' is not understandable. The permanent presence and the permanent shouting of the prostitutes near the hotel and in the neighbourhood should be mentioned in the hotel-descrition as well, either as an attraction to the guests or as a source of irritation for them.
close to the center of the city and the lake.
-prostitutes shouting at each other at night; -no complementary bar in the room contrary to reservation slip (I would have like a bottle of water at least) -room not ready at 11:00 as requested in the reservation. They should have told me they could not before sending me the confirmation instead of making me come back three time before allowing me acess to my room.
