Hotel Nassa Garni    

Breakfast was good. Lady serving was very friendly.

Upon arrival at after 15h00 in the afternoon, the room was not ready and the receptionist was not even aware of it. Send us up, bed not made and bathroom not cleaned.

Location is perfect, it is so close to congre center, 10 mins by walk. İf you wish to see lake view, you must write note. And some rooms are larger, you have to notice that. Also some rooms have balcony. Wife is free& fast.

Breakfast is poor, eggs are cold as they cooked at night. And not many choices. Beds are not comfortable.

Unable to get any info on return journey: internet seemed unserviceable, and staff had no idea how to even contact Swiss Auto Club to get, for eg, state of Alpine passes. Hard to find - only sign nearly in front of hotel. Noisy.

This is a smaller individual hotel, with character. The personnel were friendly, courteous, and knowledgable. The rooms were nice, not too big, and the bathroom had a tub.

Great location in the center of Lugano. View of the lake was great.

Construction started at 7 am 20 meters from our window. The glasses in the bathroom were dirty. Everything else was clean however. Front desk staff weren't friendly. Breakfast was ok. Not as good as some hotels in Switzerland. I would have expected more since it was 280 euros per night.

the hotel view at the lugano lake and the view was very nice plus the shopping and restuarants which are located in the same area under the hotel.

parking is costly and the space is limited . Also some times and for the few hours the police closing the main road for some events at the lugano lake street which in front of Nassa Garni hotel and no cars are allowed to go their.

Good location on lake side

the hotel is only on one upper floor of building with a small older elevator. There are only very small signs showing way out in case of emergency with confusing hallways. The room is crowded with to many electrical wires for appliances plugged in to outlets. It would be a fire danger in any house and certainly a publick hotel. The young women at the front desk was busy talking to men friends at desk and seemed annoyed when we asked her information and answered sarcastically. The room was crowded with appliances and looked messy and not clean. We stayed in 4 hotels in Switzerland and this was the only disapointement and had a higher price. We would not stay there again.

The location and views from the room were exactly as advertised. the staff were really friendly and helpful if you require advise on planning trips. Would easily return to them.

Location was perfect, view from our room was awesome.

Bed was not comfortable, furnishings were old, air conditioner was very noisy and did not work well.

The Continental breakfast was really bad. Poor selection, low quality of the food presented there. The pictures of the hotel can lead one to the belief that you're getting a room with balcony, which you are probably not

Location is perfect. The view of lake is wonderful! So big balcony!

There are just 2 bags of shampoo. It's not enough for 2 people. But they will give you more if you ask them. So That's ok.

The scenery from my room is excellent. I have a balcony big enough for the family to sit down lazy and have dinner. There are several super market not far away from the hotel. We can find everything there. Next time we come here, we will stay here again.

Nothing I did not like.

We had an excellent room on the 3rd floor over looking lake Lugano. The view was spectacular during both the day and night. The room large, clean and comfortable. We were able to use the hotel's limited underground parking garage (at additional cost), which was most convent for our purposes. The room was quiet even with the windows open and overlooking the lake shore drive.

Be aware that parking is generally limited and never free in Lugano, but this is a minor issue given this spectacular location. Our room had what seems to be the rather standard and awkward "Italian plumbing" in the bathroom.

Wish they had a better breakfast (scrambled eggs and waffles or something), but it is at least comparable to other hotels' continental breakfasts.

Location of this hotel is the best. We had triple, very nice large room 306. Awesome view of lake and mountains. Sits right off lake in very nice part of old town, 5 minutes walk to many restaurants. Free Wi-Fi on our floor worked great. Breakfast is very simple but lady getting tea and coffee was very cheerful and it was on our floor. A nice lounge area on this floor with additional flat screen tv. A empty fridge in room and Coop City was just up the street to grocery shop. Staff friendly and English speaking.
