This hotel is located close to the Sarine river next to the historic district, 1000 ft from the main train station. It offers rooms with flat-screen TVs, fine cuisine and an underground garage.

The restaurant of the NH Fribourg serves seasonal dishes and a range of delicious desserts. Guests can unwind at the lobby bar with free Wi-Fi. A large selection of drinks, wines as well as tea and coffee specialties is served there.

You can also quickly reach Fribourg University, which is also about 1000 ft from the NH Fribourg Hotel. The historic center of the city with numerous museums is within walking distance.

Woman on the reception was very helpful and made my evening with recommendation of gorgeous restaurant in old town with good prices(50fr) and Micheline stars! Nice place if you have a dog(you have to pay 20fr per day for each pet) - just near the hotel nice park for walking! This is parking. 19fr per day it's too much. Also when I put my car for a while near the hotel just pick up my luggage to the room I was charged for 50fr by police for wrong parking!!! Did you find this review helpful?	9.2

Verena Solo traveler Neuenegg, Switzerland September 26, 2011	The receptionist called a taxi (Réunis ABC SA) to bring me from Fribourt to Neuenegg. The driver was probably never outside from Fribourg he went to Biel and somehow back to Neueneegg all via country roads asking people from the road where to drive. This trip took 2 hours 20 minutes (08.05 - 10.25h) through this bad luck I missed more then half of a very important business meeting. This is an incredible bad service and a shame for Switzerland, I can not find any excuse for such an incident!!!!!!!!! 0 out of 2 people found this review helpful, did you?	7.5

Thank god for the fan - but aircon would have been nice - was very very hot the first night. Staff was generally ok - but there was one guy who was very unfriendly when I tried to pay one cash and by card - luckily someone senior took over and sorted it with a much more helpful attitude! Ich gehe davon aus, dass die Bus /Car Reisende nicht den gleichen Preis bezahlen wie wir. Es war sehr hecktisch und das Buffet sah dem entsprechend aus. Nach 20 min muss der Gast aufstehen und an die Bar Getränke bestellen obwohl das Personal gesehen hat das man da ist. Und dann den Kopf Aufstützen beim Wein einschenken ist das aller letzte.
